Marvel MMORPG

Wasn't it proposed at one time that Marvel would do a MMORPG featuring thier stable of more than 3,000 characters, Most notably Blade, Spiderman, Hulk, and Daredevil? Whatever happened to that?

The X-Men one is still in production. You can play with up to four diffrerent people at once.

Yeah, but there was one encompassing the whle MU planned.

I don't see that working. Over 3,000 characters? Well, even unsuccessful MMORPGs have more players then that. And people would want to play as their favorite heroes. What would be the point when you have like 100 different Spidermen, or Wolverines?

Anyway, City of Heroes just came out. That's probably as close as your going to get.

Yeah. And while he had good comics, I don't think playing as Howard The Duck would result in a fun-filled romp.

Vivendai Universal Interactive has the license, but that was two years ago.
