Well in the U.S. It's going to the X-box. Can't say I'm suprised, but it's kind of a shock.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooo (Deep Breath)ooooooooooooooooo!![]()
Why, why, why Sega kept the Saturn alive, ported game gear games to the SMS and it didn't have much of a future.
They even supported the SG-1000,SC-3000 and SF-7000 and they were bigger failurs then the Saturn so why can't they support the Dreamcast like they did their other system that didn't really make it?![]()
You know it really is weird, Shenmue 2 was like the DC's last guidning light.
You know what is werider you could still pick up a english version since from what I heard it is still hitting the UK.Originally posted by I.R Joey

Well, it IS coming out for the US Xbox, so not all hope is lost. Still, this is an odd decision, especially considering the obscure stuff they've brought to the US in the past (here I'm thinking Seaman and Samba de Amigo). Ah well. Next time I e-mail my Sega contacts I'll have to ask them if they know the real reasons why.

You read it... you can't un-read it!
This is a bummer. I was really looking forward to playing Shenmue 2 in time for Christmas. Well, looks like I'll defenantly have to buy an X-Box now.

I've killed for less..........Oh well, I guess I'll just import it for the DC then.

I'd like to import the Japanese version, but with a game as dialouge heavy as Shenmue, it'd be hard to play it nad know what's going on.
Why don't you get the UK version then?Originally posted by Robin2099

Huh I never thought about that. Hopefully I'll be able to find an import shop that has the UK version.
All you need is a boot CD like Gameshark CDX or the DC-X (You can also burn one if you have the image) plus the VGA box since it would be in PAL (there is a chance the UK version might have NTSC as well but you should check first) Or you can buy a PAL to NTSC converter which is around 50 bucks or you can buy a UK Dreamcast and a PAL TV but why pay that much. Personally I would stick with simply getting a VGA box if you don't have it already and a boot disk.Originally posted by Robin2099
