    4-1-1 on "Treehouse XIV"?

    Like This Thread!
Does anyone at ToonZone News have the info on what the annual "Treehouse of Horror" Simpsons episode is going to be about?

Here's what's planned for this year's THOH, according to snpp.com

-"Reaper Madness", in which Homer becomes the Grim Reaper (doesn't this sound like an episode of Family Guy?)
-"Frinkenstein" A Frankenstein parody featuring Prof. Frink reviving his father (played by Jerry Lewis)
-"Stop the World, I Want to Goof Off", A Clockstoppers spoof starring Bart and Milhouse

Cool. Even though the last few yrs ToH weren't as good, and XII sucked badly, last yrs was pretty good. I wish they would go back to the way they were yrs ago though. Jerry Springer, a robot house that loves Marge, a stupid magic episode, where the hell are the ideas?

Don't forget the furry sex in last year's special. That was the only time I've ever let my parents turn the show off without a fight.

Yes, and I think it was also an episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy

I hope this one is like that movie Young Frankenstein.

No, I keep telling everyone that it will not be a Clockstoppers spoof, but rather a spoof of the Twilight Zone episode with the watch that stops time.

By the way, it's entirely written by John Swartzwelder. This is the first THOH to do that...

That sounds more like Matt. I didn't think he'd pay homage to a piece of crap movie like that. I'm looking forward to this and all of the new "Tree House of Horrors" because with no more "Futurama" this is all the sci-fi comedy we're gonna get.

Don't put The Simpsons' exploits on Matt Groening; he's clearly not running the show right now.

I've seen this episode of Twilight Zone, and something tells me the Simpsons bit will do little to pay it worthy homage. Let's wait and see.

No matter how good THOH XIV turns out to be, I'm positive it will never be as good as the ones from seasons 4-7. "Clown Without Pity", "The Devil and Homer Simpson", "The Shinning", "Time and Punishment", "Attack of the 50 Ft. Eyesores"... pure gold.

I hope this year is good (last year's was good, but others were not!) because this is like the only time of the "year" that Simpsons can make something original into a parody.

That is just perfect! Prof. Frink's character was inspired by Jerry Lewis.
