A live action Transformers? You know, that wouldn't be a bad idea if it was made as a a big budget heavy CGI movie, but I'm not sure they'll spend that amount of money (the amount to make it a really good movie). You know there seems to be some new trend of turning anime shows into live action movies (First Dragon Ball Z, then Sailor Moon, and now Transformers) wouldn't the creators know we would prefer these shows as animation then live action movies?

Hmmmm.... I dunno,

on the one hand, if done with the same respect shown to the x-men and spiderman movies, this could be pretty darn cool.

on the other, if done "just 'cause we can" it may well end up on crap movie lists.

I'll just wait and see.

I just now noticed that this Transformer movie had been announced in the TZ news.

If somebody has already made a thread about this elsewhere, I'm sorry. Anyway, I don't remember the Transformers much. I don't think I ever watched them as a child. I do recall some stuff though. Didn't they have a movie with the Rocklords?

Anyway, I'm curious about the movie. I'd watch it!
