Ok guys got an odd question, on the news that I just read about the new King of The Hill and The Simpsons, I was wondering if the numbers next to the main title of the show is an episode counter or what , kina confused on this so any guesses?

Oooohh, thanks Galvatron for the info, and I was just comparing somthing that King of The Hill has more episodes then Bevis and Butthead, that is the reason i made this topic.

actually it's season 7 episode 16. where'd 708 come from? they've been airing new episodes since the beginning of November.

oh. well gee that's more confusing when you change the numbering and report about it in the news, since the public realizes this is King of the Hill's 7th season and probably gets confused when they notice different numbers (like when TZ was mentioning about the new episode "#512 - Pigmalion" earlier this year). but still, ive read this week's ep listed as episode #716 - "The Miseducation of Bobby Hill" (prod. code 7ABE11).
