Ideas for a Cartoon

What ideas do you have that could make a good cartoon? I would like to see a serious story about life in American high schools. We have an anime about Japanese high schools(Kare Kano), why not American high schools?

Technically, "Clone High" is an animated show about High School, even though it's students are giant copies of famous figures throughout history. That still technically counts.

As for an idea for a cartoon show, I would suggest some kind of romantic serious adult cartoon. One that uses comedey only very rarley. (If at all) I don't think there has been any real show about that idea. I'll try and make another post when I think up the details for this idea. Until then, it's just an idea.

Well he said serious, so that counts Clone High out. Personally I think an animated show about "real life" highschool would be incredibly boring. I get home from highschool, and then I watch a cartoon about highschool? Come on.... There's already plenty of live-action shows dealing with that kind of stuff.

Anyways, I don't have any ideas. I'll post again if I think of something good.

hopefully they'll end up on a network in the next few years..
