Where The Wild Things Are

Perhaps this is the wrong board for this (is it? Should this go to the animation and general topics board?), but I just read at Cartoon Reasearch that the popular book "Where The Wild Things Are" is going to be made into a computer animated movie.

Anyway, I'd watch it, I remember liking the book. But it may stink if they make it too long.

I am wondering that, also. How are they going to make a kids book you can read in a couple minutes into a ninety minute movie? The Grinch did kinda suffer for this. I will be willing to check it out, though.

I think after seeing what the Grinch turned into, it may be best to leave well enough alone... part of the book's charm is its simplicity.
