Hot diggity damn! Even though SG1 is on its last leg, Stargate will live on! Sounds pretty good to me.

I never liked SG1, but stargate is an awesome movie that could have a decent cartoon series based on it if its done well. Of course, done poorly, it could end up like "the mummy" series on kwb.

Actually, SG-1 is probably more popular than ever (usually tied for 1st in syndication ratings w/ Andromeda) and even though their upcoming 6th season will be their last, a feature film is in the works starring the SG-1 team. After that, there are plans for a whole new Stargate series (not animated), probably involving the mythos of Atlantis and the Ancients who built the Stargate.

Stargate looks like it is turning into a SCI-FI franchise, similar to what has happened with Star Trek. I just hope this Animated series can live up to it's live-action counterparts.

I love SG1...but this talk about an animated series gives me nothing but "bad vibes"...

SG1 isn't mean to be "kid friendly" but it's nothing to warrant an R-rating either.

I just wish they would leave some shows alone and try not to turn it into an animated franchise. Some things, are just better left as they are...and then live on in syndication.

I doubt it'll be any good, but I guess that's pretty cool.

Also, thanks to Toonzone for all the updates. This has to be the best entertainment site on the web outside of IMDB.
