Animation block on Comedy Central dead??

    Like This Thread!
I just saw commercials on Comedy Central for live action programming Sunday nights. Are they getting rid of their animation block? Man, I miss the days when we could watch Tick, Duckman, and Critic. I think there is still animation on, but it's really, really late, when I am in bed.

Yeah, we probably better get busy recording The Tick, before it's gone forever!

    (sadly) Spoooooon.

At least we've got the live-action series to look forward to, which supposedly goes back to the comic's (hilarious) roots...

The Tick hasn't been on for over a year and a half now. I remember when I first got Comedy Central, I was excited because I'd be able to watch the Tick. So I go to the website, and look up the schedule. Nowhere. And it never came back....

When I first got cable, Comedy Central was showing Critic, Bob and Margaret, Dr Katz, and the Tick. I don't think they had Duckman at that point, and I think I might be forgetting about some of them. I really enjoyed it, as a whole, tho only marginally liked Bob and Margaret and Dr Katz. Now it looks like live action programming is coming in. I guess we can kiss our animation block good bye?

Yeah.... Our beloved Cartoon block has been dead for quite a while, leaving us with only little crumbs, like some Duckman, then scrapping that, giving us crumbs of Critic. It was the stupidest thing they have ever done, to get rid of all those awesome cartoons, and that's the only beef I have with Comedy Central.

Two of their series, Dr Katz and Bob and Margaret, live on in home video. I'd like to know if they would put them out on DVD? I'd buy Bob and Margaret DVDs, and maybe certain Dr Katz DVDs. I would buy any and all DVDs of the Critic and Duckman.
