Tropes that are ruining Western/European Animation (and any animes involving school):
    Spoiler:
    1. Twins and/or Rich Kids as antagonists; Bullies in general. 2. Annoying jerk sibling characters and/or General sibling characters who hate each others' guts. 3. Hidden Caucasian male dominance (usually subverted to be female in anime, which can be equally as bad – and a real turnoff in general!).

Many Europeans series seems to be made only for a 1-year production due to lack of funds or something like that. The animated adaptation of Lou for instance was seen since some times here on TV but the TV series and the art style itself is nothing what you can read to the original comics series. (And even, a live-action feature of this is currently in production. Grief!)
I like any kinds of arts forms who exist, but the ones who catch my attention is the ones i mostly care.

Mission Hill. It had so much potential and had WB not fiddled around with it, it could have been a huge hit.

I second that. I asked one of the 2 creators of the show if they will ever continue the show, it was sadly, No. A huge shame.

Detention. That show was part of the Kids WB boom of the late 90's/early 2000, yet failed to continue towards a second season. The last episode aired 13 years ago

A lot of people who saw Detention viewed it as a poor man's Recess. That may or may not have been warranted, but the similarities were definitely there. Kids' WB! scheduling the show at the dreaded 11:30 AM time slot (which was largely regarded as a graveyard slot on most SatAM schedules during those days) obviously didn't help.

ThunderCats revival was awesome. Too bad CN didn't renew that.

How about the 1 season FOX primetime animated series that could have lasted longer - Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite: The Animated Series?

Allen Gregory was a horrible show, the only way that show could last longer is to get rid of Allen and his father.
