And of course, don't forget to visit the official movie website, which just recently added interactive games (I found the "graphical adventure" quite entertaining), pre-production art, live-action pictures, and cast details.

Osmosis Jones opens in US theaters on August 10th.

    Gah! I want to go!!!

I've been waiting so long for this flick! And I still haven't seen a TV promo!

I'd especially like to attend the opening night, and meet Tom Sito. But, I suppose, I can only dream.

I say we get a pool going here at the boards on how Osmosis will do at the box office. At this point it'd take a miracle to make it in the top five.

...and all you gamers who thought Final Fantasy would open at number one

On top of my fear that a dismal preformance could close the studio, perhaps the edgier, orignal version would have scored higher with ticket buyers, (but it's too early to tell).

I'm stumped to think how OJ wil perform. I know it won'tKill the competition (Easy Joker - couldn't resist) but hopefully it'll do better than FF. And with a possible series based on OJ coming, it pretty much has to. Then again, FOX is still bringing EVOLUTION after it's disasterous flop.

And too late to do anything about it.

Hey! I'm a gamer and I didn't think Final Fantasy would do well at all! So, nya!

Incidentally, I saw it last night and thought it was pretty darn bad. I'll elaborate if anyone cares.

I'm a bit worried about Osmosis Jones... the trailer was really bad, but it could be a case of inept WB marketing (yet again).

Well, I saw the trailer, and thought it looked unbearably bad. "Unbearably bad" to the point that I don't think I'd be able to sit through it if it was half as lame as the trailer would indicate. I mean, that thing just looked godawful.

And the involvement of the Farrelly Brothers pretty much destroys my hopes for the live action segments. I've been forced to sit through three of their films for one reason or another, and they seem to be several times as crude as the Zucker brothers, but several times less talented. A cut scene listed on the IMDB involving a "Gonad Gym" doesn't do much to reassure me that the people behind this film have much taste.

The one thing that does interest me is the cast. Chris Rock paired with David Hyde Pierce is....well, interesting. Should be something to hear. And other parts, according to the IMDB, will be played by Ron Howard in his first acting role since the '80's, the ever-popular Bill Shatner, and Kid Rock and, posthumously, his kept midget Joe C. If there's any fact to any of that, of course...the IMDB isn't really the most reliable source.

Well, here's hoping it doesn't suck as much as Craig thinks it will!

Kid Rock and his dead midget are indeed in the film, I remember hearing about that a while back from a non-imdb news source.

I'm cautiously hopeful for the flick... remember how bad the commercials for Iron Giant were? Maybe that's the case here...

    Jerry Beck loved it!

Jerry Beck loved it! Then again, Jerry Beck loved The Oblongs.

I regretably endorsed the Oblongs at my site... what was I thinking?

Jerry Beck also created Karen & Kirby.

But we'll let him live, because he's a nice guy. ;)
