I'd place my bets on American Dad since they seem to favor The Cleveland Show overall. I wouldn't mind it if it meant American Dad would continue for years to come and would not be constantly moved around.

I do think it would be wise to use an established show to lead the block and if they have some hits then they could easily expand a half hour or maybe more to fit more shows in.

Those two projects are separate? I thought they were the same.

I remember when Seth's "fourth series" was announced first, then the Flintstones reboot was announced over a year later.

And Fox's "It's Not Adult Swim" block gets its first new series announcement in the form of popular comic book series 'Axe Cop'.

They're even keeping the time format by giving it 15-minute episodes.

Also, the block as a proper name now in the form of "Animation Domination HD"

Clearly they're throwing down the gauntlet in terms of showing they don't need to rely of live-action series of extremely horrible quality to make with the funny. I wouldn't mnid at all if this forced AS to remember their roots and dump most of those as well if this actualyl suceeds.

Not really loving the "HD" name...

..but yeah. They're doin' it right!

Especially with the adapting comic books. Imagine stuff like Chew being adapted into 15min series. Would be coooool

Sadly we'll have to keep dreaming....cause Showtime picked it up as a proper-live-action comedy series!

Hahaha! An Axe Cop cartoon will be awesome....

I gotta hand it to them; I expected the first show revealed to be something horrible that got approved because a popular comedian made it. (Y'know, like with what happened with Jonah Hill....)

Though cool in theory, I'm not sure how I feel about Axe Cop getting a series. I think it would've been better off toned down to the level of Regular Show and Adventure Time rather than being stuck on an adult cartoon block. The comic has its gross-out humor, sure, but I'm afraid a late night block might just turn it into a cynical parody of the comic...

I have a feeling that this is where Fox will end up burning off the last season of American Dad.

It's really cool that Axe Cop is getting a show, and that Egoraptor's now a writer for FOX.

I had to look up Axe Cop to see what it was.
    It actually looks rather amusing.
Especially when you consider what CartoonNetwork has been scrounging off the internet, with things like the Annoying Orange and Problem Solvers.

And to think, this is written by a 7 year old and illustrated by his 30 year old brother.

The last season of American Dad? I doubt that show is ending anytime soon.

Know what would be a cool show? Bone.

Yeah, in our dreams. But Bone would be too sophisticated to succeed on Fox.

Egoraptor? What show's he working on? (And don't say "The Tester.")

    The official answer? Something.

Among the writers brought in-house to work on shorts are Arin Hanson and Marc Moceri, both of whom have popular YouTube animation channels.
Arin is egoraptor, Marc Moceri's Youtube channel is here (Content warning and such for it).

I'm glad Fox Broadcasts so many animated shows. I've often felt that they should buy the whole Terrytoons library (seeing as how the current owners Viacom/CBS have done nothing with them since the 80s) and show them as part of their animation block or even get back into Saturday morning cartoons.

Terrytoons were released theatrically through 20th Century Fox and already have their name listed on the credits so it would seem (at least to me) to be a natural purchase. This way they own one of the most important cartoon libraries ever, they always have programing for the animation block, and they will now own classic cartoon characters that they can feature in new animated programs.

BTW, why are there no Terrytoon smileys?

Ben Jones (creator of The Problem Solverz) is doing a show for the block.

Jones, an artist who's influenced fine art, web design, music video and comics, has since left Cartoon Network and is now gearing up to work on a new late night animation series produced by an independent production outfit called Friends Night. He is rumored to be taking some of his Problem Solverz crew with him. The show will air as part of Animation Domination High Definition (ADHD), the Fox Network's new Saturday night cartoon block at 11:30 PM.
