Books that you would like to see converted into "faithful" animated conversions.

Most of the books (novels) mostly I enjoyed have already been converted to live action movies. However, there was this one book (you know one of those cheap ones they sell you in elementry school, with the action that's for kids, and the cover art looks like a bunch of young folks being hunted by evil people/aliens/ or investigating a haunting.) Anyway, this book was really cool because it was about this alien shapeshifter cop who was trying to hunt down another shapeshifter with the help of these kids. It was really interesting and I read the whole 100-150 pages that day. Didn't want to put it down, and I wasn't even in the Targeted age bracket.

    Oh yes and 3 words.

    Hank The Cowdog.

So those would be mine, how bout you guys.

My favorite books in grade school were Caddie Woodlawn and Family Sabbatical (there was a sequel to Family Sabbatical but I forget the name of it). I read Family Sabbatical a dozen times and Caddie Woodlawn several times as well. I think they would make great animation, if adapted faithfully. Far better than the crap they have out for kids (at least from what I've seen in the mass media. I am sure there is good stuff out there but I don't have kids of my own to know for sure).

There was another series of books I used to read. Well, I think each book used different characters, but they were all about witches and witchcraft. I know that's pretty broad, as there must be 30,000 kids books out there written about witches, but this author made it her/his career to write these books. One book I remember really well was where these two school girls find enchanted gloves and when they put them on, it allowed them to write all the right answers on tests. So one was left handed and the other girl was right handed so they could use the gloves at the same time, but I think they got found out becuase the gloves made them write the exact same things so they got in trouble. Anybody know what I am talking about or is this just another episode of old man's moldy memories?
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
