One Piece fan. Bleach fan.
We got ourselves a musical number, folks.
Nice musical number there.
It's funny but not very engaging I can already tell they're going down the route of South Park. And that musical number was too long.
Ugh. DS or not, she's something else...
Wow. Not a lot of talking in these threads tonight.
It was an alright episode. Nothing really too funny though. Liked the song.
"Yeah, I'm not psychic."
lol.
It wasn't hilarious, but I found a few parts of it funny at least.
John Holmquist? Wow, that's a sudden addition.
For those who don't know, he directed Rugrats, the episoes that aired around the late 90's.
I just got home expecting to see nice full talkbacks on all of tonight's Animation Domination shows...
What the...? Where is everyone tonight?
He's been directing on FG since 2007 (and previously directed one episode back in the first production season).
The psychic parts were the best- I particularly liked "I said it first!" and wanting to touch the boobs of an attractive 12 year old to see the future. "12 years old, young, or 12 years old, she's been drinking a lot of milk and is well-developed? That's real, BTW." (KABOOM)
But Chris and the down syndrome date left me perplexed and underwhelmed. At least we got a fantastic musical number out of it. Now the real question: What existing song did they put new words to? It had to be something; previous FG songs which I thought were created specifically for the show were merely song parodies, albeit well-done ones (specifically, I'm thinking of the FCC song and "Road to Rhode Island").
"You have the right to remain silent. But then again, you have the right to spill your guts and really blow it for yourself!"- Goofy, after arresting Pete and Peg
I was really surprised by the episode. I enjoyed the "Stewie Defeats Truman" thing the most. And I burst out laughing halfway through the song when I realized how long it was going. Not sure why, but I thought that was hilarious just by itself. I also liked the Palin reference.
Ummmm...apparently Seth McFarlane doesn't realize that Allison Dubois is a real person. It was kind of stupid for them to make fun of Lois for thinking Medium is real when the show is actually based on a real person's life.
Honestly, I just turned it off during the first commercial break. (I had other stuff to do, but that's besdies the point.)
Most of it didn't capture my interest anyways, which is a shocker. Probably better off not seeing it. Although the lack of discussion in this thread is unusually low...![]()
Yes, there are amazing things up there in the universe, but they’ve got some very stiff competition down here on Earth!

It's funny how they totally stopped caring about the whole "no one in the family understands Stewie except Brian" gimmick and allowed Stewie and Chris to talk to each other as equals. That threw me for a while but I got used to it.
Great song, btw.
Well, Medium is based on Allison Dubois's life just like Bones is based on Kathy Reichs' life, as in not really. Plus, they kept referring to the character of Alison Dubois as Medium, which isn't her name.
And that's the joke. It's similar to a joke Homer Simpson did on that Ricky Gervais episode where he referred to Horatio Caine as CSI: Miami, you know, referring to a lead character by the show's name.
What does the X stand for? It's definitely not Extreme. Extreme starts with E.
It is nice change of pace to see Stewie teamed up with someone other than Brian for once.
