I spoke to Tara last week about the death of “Drawn Together,” the rebirth of “The Powerpuff Girls” and the one thing she considered to be too offensive to joke about on TV



I was aware that there was going to be something about the PPG but I will truly miss DT oh well

So she's going to be doing some voicework for PPGZ, eh? IIRC, they weren't planning on having the original voices reprise their roles, right? If they can have Tara on board, they might as well. The voices would still fit the characters fine, IMO.

Hmmm this was a pretty good interview. Would of been interesting if she could of talked more about the Little Mermiad prequal but guess Disney's still in the tight lipped phrase on it and they're more secure about this kind of stuff then other networks. Also liked her mention of Drawn Together giving her a chance to be more dirty and being offended by some of the jew jokes (thinking about I think there were more jewish jokes in DT then there were other relgiions. Probably because the whole staff is Jewish and stuff). Biggest interests were the powerpuff Girl news though. I do hope her and the original do voice work for Z, but even more interesting is talking about a direct to TV movie. Even if there aren't any more PPG eps it's interesting they're still going to have a movie come out for it so maybe CN still has more plans for the franchise then we thought. Hope they're better then the last season of the show was though which was pretty sour.

A new PPG TV movie? I remember Craig McCracken said in an interview that he had an idea for a finale movie; maybe this will be it. Could be good, if they're able to get more of the original staff back than the later seasons.

And if that picture proves anything, it's that my crush on Mrs. Strong is still going...strong.

Damn, now I remember why I liked her too.

Yeah she is attractive, but she is funny, and it seems to to me she is a nice person.

But neather the less, she is a great voice over actress, which in my opinion is really an art. At least when people like Tara do voice over work, it is art. What does amase me, is she has more than one voice for little boy characters. It is hard to do a voice of the opposite gender, yet a lone do more than one.

Of course there are others who could, I never said they weren't. Those that can do that, is amasing. And I mean really playing a character of the opposite gender so realsticly, and which the audience forgets the gender of the voice actor.
