LOL! Was I the only one that watched this?
Anyways, the episode was okay. Nothing really big like the two-parter. Kaz the Stampede gets a new vehicle accessory, Tom fights a fat dude...andSpoiler:
You know I completely forgot this was on... and apparently so did the rest of the forum.

First off, Maxxor's appearance changed significantly. Face is structured differently and his formerly Mugic shaped buckle is now 8 sided. The intro sequence still has the old Maxxor though.
The story kind of bogged down to me. Why didn't Kaz scan the thing in the first minute? Tom's fight with Peyton gets a bit lame when they stop to explain what they are doing. Peyton is just weird as well.
The story also shows that they should be able exit Perim to Chaotic at almost anytime. Hopefully no lame "Star Trek" type transporter problem plots.
It wasn't all bad. I have to say I really like the art and animation in this episode. That much of it was done well.
The show finally has credits, but it looks the people who do most of the work are getting lumped under "Bardel".

I also saw today's ep. Not too bad. Seems Tom needs a few more lessons on the game itself.![]()
As for the show, I kinda like it...so far.
1. The animation and the battles are pretty good.![]()
2. Looks like Tom has a lot more to learn about "Chaotic."![]()
3. I just hope Sarah doesn't become another "Tea."
Anyway, I'll definately watch this show. It looks enjoyable.

Best Kim Possible Dialogue:
Kim(to Ron): You're weird.
Ron(embarrassed) Kim.
Kim: Shhh. I like weird.![]()
Most Memorable Winx Club Dialogue:
Dark Bloom: Why don't you fight?! Or is it because I'm more powerful than the five of you combined?!
Flora(furious at the Trix for hurting Rose): SHE WAS MY SISTER!!!!!
I really liked this episode, the new Maxxor design was a big improvement. I think they did a good job of giving you bits of strategy without it being totally overbearing like most card based animes do sometimes.
The reason the Mugic animation was different was because it was a different spell. In episode 2 it was Fortissimo this one was Song of EmberNova. Each spell will have it's own look and 7 musical notes before it's cast (Zelda anyone?).
Also keep in mind that Kaz was in Perim. The current belief is being hurt or killed in Perim is very bad. So scaning the VileDriver without getting shot or squashed was in his best intrest. And somehow I don't think Chaor was going to stay still long enough to let him scan it. According to his creature bio on chaoticgame.com, Chaor will avoid being scanned at all cost. Kaz being an UnderWorld player would know this.
The bottom line is that it is a cartoon based on a card game, so I don't think we can avoid the characters calling out moves. Peyton was just helping Tom cause he was friends with Sara, plus it lets us (the viewer) know what moves they are doing (did Peyton remind anyone else of Jack Black?? LOL!). The real test will be next week when we see how well they handle the history lesson of Perim.
The mugic animation is different from the first two broadcasts versus the January broadcast. The first version was like a sphere with light shooting out of it. It looked the same for Fortissimo and Song of Healing. January ones are different.
Kaz should have tried to scan it at least. Would have made it slightly more interesting and compelling. (Not trying vs trying and failing)

I watched episode 2 last week, then I watched today's and this show isn't as cool it was when I first saw it.
I'll give it one more episode before I pass my final judgement.

Kassandra: Goddess of Awesome
Glad to notice Chaotic is not following the traditional Yugioh-style of having the main character win every battle in the beginning. Nice to see that Tom has some learning to do, and needs to do more scanning to increase his deck potentials.![]()

Tom had a decent strategy, but it's good to see he'll be learning as they go along. Meanwhile, the accessories look like they'll be pretty cool.
College football, basketball, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB. I may not be an expert, but these sports always keep me fascinated if the game is good!
