What's your most obscure favorite series?
This is just an ice-breaker question, since I'm still new. I hope the mods don't mind, since this isn't supposed to be a survey, just some nostalgia.
By obscure, I mean any animated series that'll get half a sentence at best in a history of animation but would otherwise be overlooked.
My personal two favorites are Xyber 9: New Dawn & Cybersix. The former was mentioned in my nominees for favorite series, and I'm mentioning it here again 'cuz I like it. I'm a sucker for a space opera. And Cybersix is particularly powerful if you DON'T watch the Fox Kids version, which added sound effects & tried to play down all the elements about gender identity & ambiguity.
I can't wait to hear everyone else's!

I'm not sure how many people enjoyed Shadow Raiders as much as I have (notice the avatar), but that's one of my favorites. Another series I really liked was Sky Commanders from back in the 80's as well as shows like Mummies Alive, Extreme Ghostbusters, & Godzilla that used to come on a few years ago. Pirates of Dark Water is also excellent and unfortunately was never finished. I also liked ExoSquad quite a bit which seems to be somewhat of a cult favorite from the early 90's. Some of my choices aren't exactly "obscure", but I think ExoSquad is probably one of the best animated series that never really got the recognition it deserved.
I've never actually watched any of Xyber 9, but I've always wanted to from what I saw in the commercials for the show. Cybersix never really interested me much though.

Well, for animation, my most favorite obscure series was Princess Knight. It only aired on two stations in America, and one of those stations was in Honolulu!
But there are others that have slipped away to obscurity, such as the Greatest American Hero, the best superhero show that wasn't based on a comic book! I mean, I liked the Tick and all, but I don't think it surpassed GAH.
No Soap Radio is the one series VERY few people remember. It aired on ABC after Police Squad! (another obscure series but not quite as obscure; it will be on DVD soon.) No Soap Radio was a show featuring very bizzare comedy bits. Almost inexplicable, but I loved it.
The Half Hour Comedy Hour was also very fun.
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

Re: What's your most obscure favorite series?
Sweet, another person likes Cybersix!
Now that I look back on it, some of the episodes bit, but the animation was amazing, even if the designs were a little strange, and the Canadian series was definitely better than the Fox version.
