Animated LXG: Would you have watched it?
every now & then FX broadcasts The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
I had always thought this franchise was ripe for an animated series, either on adult swim or SciFi Channel. Ideally, it'd be a loose adaptation of the comics & the film.
The main roster would consist of:
Alan Quartermain
Tom Sawyer
Rodney Skinner (aka The Invisible Man)
Dr. Mina Harker
Dr. Jeckyl (& Mr. Hyde)
occassional appearances by Captain Nemo
the setting would remain in the earlier yrs of the 20th Century at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. Adventures would've taken place thoughout the world: Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas, Australia, etc.
It's too bad such a series never got off the ground, especially given the success of other Independent franchises such as Spawn, The Maxx, TMNT, The Tick, & The Mask for starters. Chances are Mignola's Hellboy DTVs will be hot as well as his upcoming SciFi pilot for The Amazing Screw-On-Head.

something to think about.

I'd give it a shot. Although, it would have to be toned down if it was based on the comic. I still shudder when I think about the Mr. Hyde & Invisible Man scene.

That would be amazing as a dC comics dTV.I would have bought it.
