Good Cartoon Names...for Pets...

This thread was inspired by something I saw in this morning's Times-Herald Record, where two little kittens named "Ren" and "Stimpy" are available for adoption from one of the local animal shelters.

If you had a pet (dog, cat, whatever), what cartoon character would you name him/her/it after?

Here's an easy one: If I had a cat, I would name it "Cat" after Cat in Catdog

Well my cat is named after a cartoon character. 2 of them in fact. His real name is "cheshire cat" i named after the cat in alice in wonderland because my mum pointed out that he has a smile (?!) like the cheshire cat in the movie... but his nickname i gave him is wakko (not because wakkos my fave, but because it actually fits him nicely)

1) because hes black with four white paws and white on his face which kinda resembles the white on the warners faces
2) because he sticks out his tongue when he sleeps
3) because hes pretty much off the wall and acts wacky most of the time.

Of course, I already have a cat named Alf, so I think I've had enough of pets with TV show names.

That name would work even better for a naked mole rat.

At least it would if those critters made good pets, which they don't- they dislike being above ground, don't like being apart from other mole rats, and can deliver an amazingly strong bite.

Pig: Abner, Wilber, Chuckles the Silly Piggy

Cat: Nibbler, Garfield, Heathcliff, Dina, Luna, Wanya

Bunny: Babs, Buster, Rabbit

Snake/Lizard: Elmyra (boa constrictor), Haku (lizard - it's ALMOST like a dragon)

Crab: Dr. Zoidburg

Hamster: Hamtaro, Rufus, Pikachu (would probably work better for a rat)

Themes (any animal): [Charlie, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Patty, Marcie, Shroeder, etc.], [Fry, Leela, Hubert, Hermes, etc.]
