The 2nd act of the 25th episode "GRUFFO" is slightly modified where Future Phil meets with the past Phil.
This is the universal talkback for all the changes made to bonus stage up untill Bonus Stage's end.
OK, so Matt's updated again, Car's been re-re-continuated. Then look for the next episode that's been edited.
Then discuss.
edit: Also, the episodes are back up, all of them but ep 87 still Time Paradox's itself out half way though.

It's odd, the thing that I struck me most about the extended reëdit of episode one is that Phil pronounced, "wiki," as /wiki/, rather than /wIki/, which is how I've always pronounced.
This demonstrates my capacity to miss the point of anything. In any case, at least it's a suprise and he's gone to admirable lengths to integrate this finale into the series itself.
Watching the twenty fifth episode over again was striking because of how much the voice characterizations, designs, and animation have bettered. I had also forgotten how drawn out that opening was.
Well, it was fun.

Well, I myself am waiting for the 88 out of chracter finale, myself.
You're going to be waiting for a very, very long time, I believe. Although one person on the Bonus Stage forums has apparently put up $1500 for said episode.Originally Posted by Conan-san

And now that rumor has been bumped up to a supposed season 8 with 13 more episodes at a fairly impressive price (550 an ep?) IIRC. Details, albeit completely unsubstantiated by Matt, here:Originally Posted by Rasputin

Huh, fancy that.
Well, all I can say is, "the internet is strange." Oh well, it's a better thing to spend money on than another season of Star Trek: Enterprise.

Okay, what that sounds like is someone who is not Matt Wilson wants to own the last episodes of Bonus Stage.
Maybe this guy has good intentions, but I think if he likes his work that much, he could commission an original cartoon that when it's done they could both walk away from without a care in the world.
This just looks like it may have ownership issues that could bind them is a state of marriage for life.
Sorry for bringing it up, but that gives me legal type anxieties about the whole thing.
But I obviously don't know the business so I'll just leave it with a best of luck.

I cannot believe anyone is taking this seriously. It's a pitiful troll preying on pitiful fans. Noone would offer a giant pile of money to save freaking Bonus Stage, and if they did, it would do nothing but freak the hell out of Matt, who could probably make more money devoting the same amount of time to something easier.

It is suspect, but I won't discount it outright until Mr. Wilson himself makes a statement on the matter, and even if were confired, I should think that nothing would be certain until a check had cleared.
I don't think it's inconceivable that someone would want to spend a relatively large sum to extend Bonus Stage (hell, remember those twits who raised millions for Star Trek: Enterprise?). It is suspicious and that it's nothing but a prank or some nonsense is not unlikely, but my expectations are fueled by my earlier statement that the internet is strange, which leaves me cautious open to the possibility.

On the "seasion 8 revial" thing, I call bs on that one (the other bs), wihtout matt's word, it's absoulte bullhonkey.
And I still think 88's going to be the real end.
And if not, there's still half of 87 that's still non-existant.
Bumping this up to let you guys know that Matt has updated the episode guide with brand-new descriptions for the last 13 episodes.
Apparently this wasn't a hoax.

Why on earth would someone want to pay money for more of this only very mildly funny but overwise rather dull and dragged out webtoon? I doubt this is true somehow.
I'm still rather taken aback by the idea. I liked Bonus Stage, for the most part, but I could never conceive of myself paying the relatively imposing cost to produce an additional season. Oh well, as it is not my little-inhabited wallet bearing the burden, I shall happily wait on the consequence of this curious affair.

If you went to the BS forums this would of been known common knowledge for awhile now, but they're more on top of that kind of stuff so it makes sense it was only leaked now on TZ. Personally I think season 8 will be great. Just look at the premises. You just gotta love the Pixar mocking one (yeah Matt really dosen't like the plot of most Pixar films, and probably CG cartoon films in general).

Woah! I'd completely written off seeing this show again...I was actually looking forward more to The School Show Starring School or anything else Matt would be paid to do, but this is pretty cool too!
AH POOK IS HERE!
Yeah, but still, even if I loved the toon, I wouldn't pay to get more made, especially if the creator doesn't even want to be making it anymore.Originally Posted by SirLemming

And Matt never said he didn't want to make the show, he said he couldn't, which isn't the same thing.

Hmm. Well, I wouldn't either, but I don't know what this guy's money situation is like. I don't think it's so unbelievable that it would happen. Just unusual.Originally Posted by GagaMan
