If this ad makes a few more people aware of what wars actually do, then more power to it.

Yes, Peyo's family agreed to this. Its some sort of anti-war ad in Belgium where the Smurfs' village gets bombed and the last frame shows a crying Baby Smurf in the ruins of the village surrounded by dead Smurf bodies, then it shows the message "Don't let war affect the lives of children."
There's a video here, but the streaming sucks so it's more like a slide show:

Wow. That's some wild, wacky stuff. Gargamel's not pulling his punches anymore I guess. I hope the first bomb hit Brainy.
very good campaign.
The merciless attack on the Smurfs by Uniceif is hoirrible. They can't not go unpunished. It's time for the Cartoon Nations to stop sitting around and do something!![]()

Ok, well I'm not sure what I just saw there but The Smurfs had it coming but I can see what war does to children.
Wow, You would of figgured the death of the Smurfs would come from some idot walking through thier village Godzilla style.
Yeah, the first thing that'll happen is ZAFT will launch thier MS and Shin will end up squashing the whole village as he lands.Originally Posted by Gatomon41
I neard about this on the radio last night. Kinda random, but if it gets the message across, then that's great.
Makes you wonder why Gargamel never thought of this in the first place.Originally Posted by Desslar
