What If: Voice Actors Past and Present
I've been doing some pondering lately, about how a famous (or not much so) animated cartoon character would sound if he was around at least 2-4 decades back. Who would've been the one to give him his voice? In this thread, we'll see how some of your favorite shows would look and sound like if there were different actors to play them, no matter what era.
Here's one example: the reporatory company of CINAR/Cookie Jar's Animal Crackers. Had the series made its debut roughly 35 years earlier (their initial introduction dates back to the original comic strip in 1967) you'd probably here these individuals...
Lyle Lion (Daws Butler [in Mr. Jinks-type])
Dodo (Len Weinrib)
Gnu (Hal Smith)
Eugene Elephant (Bill Scott/John Stephenson)
Lana Lion (Joan Gerber)
I hope this covers the idea. And with that, the floor is now open. Enjoy.
