The most overrated Show/Character?

Two topics in one day that is my greatest achievement sadly lol. Any who this topic if for you to say which show/character from any show you think is overrated.

1. The Simpson’s: I love it though lol.

2. Sponge bob Square pants: Can't stand the show really and yet loved by fans. Actually I catch an episode from time to time and some can be good.

Overrated characters:

1. Homer Simpson

2. The baby griffin can't remember his name but he's from Family Guy.

Any who tell who you think is the most overrated show and character if you want to. Also if theirs already a topic like this sorry didn't know and go a head and delete this. If not go a head and chat people.

While I LOVE Stewie Griffin, I couldn't agree more about Spongebob Dookiepants. Not only the show, the character. He annoys the...um...*thinks of a non-curse word* ...bejeezus out of me.

Also overrated- The Powerpuff Girls. SOOO played out.

Man that's weird even their mothers got angry with you. But their ones protesting against things now and days that are stupid and have no morals, also includes Sponge bob square pants. I think that's crazy were all entitled to our opinions.

Yeah, but its very popular on CNUK, new series allways have lots of publicity and it has loads and loads of timeslots. And its being released on DVD, which is quite rare for a Cartoon Cartoon/Nicktoon

Oh, oh I have another series that seems to overrated Mucha, Lucha and god I hate that show. It's bad enough that other shows got canned do to this unpopular show, but they have to have it on two stations why? Is it popular or something? I just don't get it.

I know I'm a big Spongebob, but that's your opinion and I respect that. I my opinion the most overrated cartoon shows for me are Ozzy & Drix, Baby Looney Toons, and Rugrats after 2001. I mean these shows I said are overrated have too much air time.

I think that I have to agree with the Mucha Lucha Angle.. I think this is the most overrateed show since that Hulk Hogan Animated series in the 1980's...

Frankly I don't detest Wrestling Animation shows.. but the way they portray these people.. (We see them as Wrestlers.. and not actors..)

Now as for the Luchadores.. I've heard a few of them actually say this show portrays Lucha Libre in a bad light (Being In arizona I have Spanish Channels who do reports about Luchadores and some of the things they have said really says a lot about Mucha Lucha.. it's definteily Overrated..(and they don't do donuts!)

anyway that's about it..

"All Grown Up" is soooo completely over-rated. Yeah, I liked the pilot TV movie, but the series is awful, IMO, and yet all these other kids are going crazy over it! Gurrrr!
Oh, and, in my opinion, Spongebob Rocks.:-D

Nickelodeon and Disney, mostly.

I've also never seen what clicks in Samurai Jack. Duel Masters is kind of... stupid, and I think Zim is just average.

I have to go with Spongebob Squarepants myself. The show is just okay, but it's NOT the center of the universe. That's what Nick did to Rugrats (another okay show), and it ended up with bad results.

Like Rugrats before it, Spongebob is the big, most important to-do, leaving Ren & Stimpy, Fairly OddParents and Invader ZIM (three of my all-time favorite Nick shows) to be treated like second-bananas in comparison.

And everywhere I go, I see NOTHING but Spongebob merchandise! There's no escaping it! Where's the merchandise for the OTHER Nick shows!? There's very little.

If, say, FOP had more exposure, I'd be in paradise.

BTW, Powerpuff Girls is not as overrated. That was at least a great show, one of my favorites. But since the movie, Warner basically killed it because Craig refused to sell out to them. The series jumped the shark when Craig left. Now, some Powerpuff fans are mad at Craig for abandoning the show to do Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Hey, Foster's may have weaknesses, but it's still a very good show.

Now Samurai Jack . . . THAT'S overrated. The pilot movie was excellent, great animation and visuals, but the series was not as good. Pretty visuals don't make a whole show. It's also the only CN series to get a season box set (like none of the other shows deserve them). Plus, the excessive Star Wars/pop culture references got tired really fast. Enough already.

On the American anime front, the DragonBall series and Yu-Gi-Oh! are totally overrated (although DB has mellowed down). It's like those shows are the center of the universe. Come on! There's more, MUCH more to anime than those shows (Naruto, which has yet to be seen here, is a huge success in Japan). Gimme Mazinger Z or Devilman '72 any day!

Overrated Shows:

Spongebob (of course)
Teen Titans: is good, but not that good
Home Movies: seems to have only a "cult" following, but I can't understand why anyone likes it at all. (this is not a flamebait, I just don't like the show.)

Overrated Characters:

Any characters in the aforementioned shows, except Coach McGuirk.

YGO receives a lot of criticism actually, it's going through that fad stage. When it dies out, the fanbase will no doubt be a lot smaller.
