Don't know if this has been posted before. My apologies if it already has been, but here goes..


It's not often that David Beckham gets upstaged in the celebrity department.

But even the football star has to admit that his latest advertisement has somebody else stealing the thunder.

The soccer sensation has teamed up with Scooby-Doo and his pals in an animated TV commercial launched this week.

The England and Real Madrid star plays the part of an unmasked ghoul in the latest campaign for the sportswear giant Adidas.

"I liked the idea that I would feature in the legendary cartoon that my kids watch. Scooby-Doo has a massive following around the world," Beckham said.

The advertisement is due to appear on cable and satellite channels across Europe from October 1.

I saw the commercial last night on MTV Nordic. It was okies, I don't think it featured any of the regular voices for Scooby Doo !!!

Unless he's in the US... and then it happens frequently because most don't even know who he is.
