We need more shows like Braceface

    Like This Thread!
Braceface touches issues that other kid shows wouldn't touch with a 20 foot pole.

    1) It showed that underage drinking is wrong by having Sharon getting drunk and having a hangover the next morning. You won't see a character on any other kid show doing that.

    2) It has an openly homosexual character. Some other kid shows have a homosexual character, but they don't make it so obvious.

    3) Sharon's grandfather is racist. On other kid shows no-one can be racist. Not even villains.

    4) In "Busted" Sharon gets a pump-up bra.

    5) In "Teacher's Pet" Sharon and Adam suspect Maria's teacher might be a paedophile.

Yeah, but I don't see anymore coming down the road. It'd be nice, though, but let Braceface have the pleasure.

like "the n" aka nickelodeon cuts degrassi episodes , disney cuts braceface episodes. BraceFace and Degrassi are uncut in canada, where they are made.

both shows touch these issues but are not american made.. and the american shows for kids that have these issues are sitcoms like boy meets world.

Wow, now I wish I watched it more. This really looks like a step foreward.
Anyone know if Cahnnel 5 edits it here in the UK?

Underage drinking isn't wrong. In Europe kids are allowed to drink, and because it's not forbidden, kids in Europe don't take every opportunity to get plastered. And they have pills for hangovers now.

Yes, we live in America, where people aren't allowed to drink until they're 21, which explains why young people all get plastered every weekend.
