All I have to say is... amazing. Man, even I admit that this kicks the butt of Armada's animation, and I'm a fan of the series...

I think my expectations for Energon/Super Link just skyrocketed. o_O Though I'm sure a couple bits of that are from the opening theme, the CG animation for the TFs just looks great. Especially love the bit with Jetfire spinning around and blowing the hell out of all those Divebombs.

... This should've been posted at the Cartoon Network forums, as this show is going to SVES. Dangit.

I'll post it there... sorry folks.

What, it's fine here. The show is a sequel to a show that began and ended on Toonami, it's 95% likely to hit Toonami at some point, and was even announced for Toonami. Friggin' SVES.

Transformers meets Sentai. Looks cool as hell, with better CG than Zoids: Fuzors and animation than Armada.

I'm not feeling it that much.

The TF's look like Zoids, and they don't look as fluid as they should. Prime looks cool in his scenes, but some of the others need a little work.

not as fluid? They move pretty naturally, and I think the CGI meshes well with the other animation.

I mean, the animation of Jetfire swooping around and shooting down Divebombs shows him moving extremely aerodynamically...

Maybe it was the player. But after closer inspection, it looks way better than Armada. They have GUNS, and use them frequently. Plus bots and cons take actual damage!

Man... imagine the Toonami promo for this. Transformations, both human and Transformer, battles...

Oh, wait... we won't get one. I don't think any show that came from SVES got a full-length promo. Hell, I'd be surprised if we got more than a 30-second Buu Saga commercial for DBZ.

Well, either way, the show NEEDS to air just once a week for a good while. That leaves Toonami Fridays or SVES.

But MOST OF THE TIME when an action show these days is going to premiere once a week, where does it go? SVES. So.. *shrugs*

Is there any chance we can get back to the show itself?

Wow, Knux Five's really steamed about this whole SVES Transformers Energon release. I mean, he has every right to be as a Toonami fan, but CN's just doing it for ratings to help Energon and maybe land another sequal show for it. Nice clip, BTW.

I dunno about steamed myself, but it premiering on SVES definately gets a "Keh..." from me.

I haven't seen the clip yet, but if this were to be a break out success, I think it'd be good to see it for the first time tricked out with a quality Toonami promo and treatment, than SVES with its green, browns, yellows, and techno-kazoo music.

Y'know, just once, I'd like to see the original intro. The one from Japan. Because when you can make Armada look cool, you're untouchable.

Though I doubt the action will be anywhere near Hakusho or Recca I can see it will keep me well entertained :anime: .
