Transformers Armada "Depart" Talkback (Spoilers)

It's time to roll out. You can't see it anywhere else in the U.S., Toonami is currently the exclusive home for new "Transformers Armada" episodes. This is the official talkback thread for the episode 'Depart' making its American Television premiere on Toonami October 17th at 6.0 PM (5.0 Central). Comment on this episode because you've got the touch!

Last week everybody was angry due to the loss of Optimus, especially Hot Shot. Apparently the only way to knock some sense into him was to physically beat him up. It worked however and also some how made him qualifed to lead the autobots. However, he did not take the spark. Can the Autobots make it back to Cybertron with their new defacto leader? Tune in to find out. Only Toonami.

Edit: Heheheh...anotehr dub errro. Alexis and Rad have the same dad. XD Then again, it can be explained away that she sent it to Rad's dad also and just didn't bother to say it.

You mean to tell me Starscream & HotShot just get a color change and become ThunderCracker and HotRod?

Highwire talking...that proves it. Rad's been smoking too much weed.

RAD HAS PARENTS!? WTF!?

Finally, Red Alert lays it straight. Wonder why they didn't say it earlier, considering the kids just got in the way on Earth too.

I remember in the original series it took the Autobots less than 10 episodes to become Earth's heroes.

Shouldn't Rad have brought Highwire to his parents to prove his point?

Meh, Big O had better "flames in dreams."

How is Rad's room a junkpile? It's so neat and clean!

Don't tell me Rad gets an exoskeleton...

That scene changer right before the commercial break ruined the moment.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. The kids are supposed to be Americans, right? Then why did Carlos say it's Saturday and Mom thinks its a school day?

Geez, they just re-used the same 3 Mini-Cons and just gave them different color schemes. That's lazy.

Perceptor's voice is so crappy.

Grrr, the annoying ones are coming too. I hate that.

Please illuminate, why was everyone running out of the laboratory?

WOW, the Minicons are so inconsiderate. The Autobots understand that they want to help (the humans) but they'll all get in the way, but the Minicons had to be pricks and have it their way.

The ending didn't make sense. And above all else, the kids want to fight, but they treat the expedition like some vacation.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, Prime is dead and they're all still happy but not lamenting or have any sense of being adamant seriously towards their cause.

Trust me, the Mini-Cons made the right choice.

Believe it or not, the kids DO help. Except for Billy and Fred. They don't do anything.

That was an error? I thought it was just the shows writers/producers making some kind of comment on how catastrophically neglectant the kids parents r to them. But then again why am i expecting social commentary from this show?

Well done. You've probably covered everything that needed to be covered in this sub-par episode.

About the Saturday school thing, they probably do live in Japan. Japan....with a desert mountain. Riiight.

And I don't think Alexis sent an e-mail to Rad's father. Rad pulled a cell phone out of his ass and sent a text message to his father, and the dub's dialogue just made you think otherwise.

I'm also pretty pissed that the Autobots decided to let the kids come along. We all knew it was going to happen, but REALLY, what kind of soldiers are these Autobots, taking these helpless, frail, little humans with them?

Does Cybertron even HAVE air to breathe? Cybertron doesn't have an atmosphere. In the original series, Spike went to Cybertron, and I don't think he was wearing a space suit or anything, but that could be a plot hole as far as I know.

I rather found the ep to be pretty, decent. save the glaring writting errors and Megatron calling Thrust "squidhead"

I hope the rest of the minicons speak and have somehting relevant to say "We said the HUMANS could come, not those........apes"

it kinda buged me that Rad's dad kept calling him Rad. his given name is Bradley , but he shortned it to "Rad" to sound cooler. in a moment of actual father-son-itis he should'nt have been worried aobut appealing to his son's ego. but that would be expecting competence on the part of the dub writers. I still love how the kids DO NOT look like anie characters, but rather US anime-emulates. which is sad cuz cvuz it IS anime. Totally Spies is more on-model thna Armada is, at least the complicated 'vot designs give SOME kind of an excuse

It's what he goes by. When parents are serious they can use their kids nicknames. My parent's still call me 'Tony' during serious conversations.
