According to my boss, Dragonball GT starts on October 3.

I personally am VERY glad they're airing GT. I want to see it on and off as QUICKLY as possible. It's not that great compared to either of the first DragonBall series...

Also... Think of what series it's gonna replace. It wouldn't be DragonBall, I mean it needs to show off it's Third season... and it won't be Cyborg or SD Gundam, because even William Street knows that, THAT much DragonBall will only hurt... So, what show will it be taking off?

Re-read it a third time. One time a week? That seems kind of odd. Also makes it seem like DBZ probably isn't going anywhere since at no time will there be more than an hour of Dragon Ball.

Well I say about time, partially because it will, as someone else said, get this dumb series out of the way.

And probably because they are only working with whatever Funi dubbed, I wouldn't be surprised if we are doing the "skip to Baby" stuff.

Though this makes them unable to ride the Dragonball Franchise for much longer...they'll need a new "Big Thing" soon, primarily by this time next year.

Are we supposed to be thankful for getting Funiball GT on TV? Honestly, I'm going to avoid the dub like a plague. Actually, though, I am thankful it'll air this fall. That way they can get it out of the way quickly and I can forget that Funimation's abomination ever existed.

DBGT is actually quite good. I can't wait to see it on Toonami personally. Better animation, concise story lines, and some serious **honking** battles. I'll watch. And feel good about it too. Among other things I look forward to seeing:

The climax of the Baby fight on his newly created planet via the dragonballs. The reintroduction of Android 17 (both of them) and then of course Super 17. Super Saiyan 4 Goku AND Vegita, the battle with the Shenrons, and the most incredible fusion of the entire franchise

But, then again, thats just me.

That's what I mean...to me DBZ hit its peak in the Android Saga. DBGT will definitely bring serious heat, the only drawback is the slow start...Funi wants to negate that and get right to the gooey violence. My only concern is whether or not they screw with the soundtrack. Anybody know if they do....I don't.
