I haven't seen Fruits Basket, but it's my understanding that it doesn't have much of any action in it... so, it's chances to make the Toonami line-up I'd have to think are minimal.
Does anyone know of this shows chance of hitting Toonami?

Very Little action, alot of Romance. I doubt it will be coming to Toonami.
As much as I love Fruits Basket, I never, never want to see it on Toonami. Toonami is for action shows which Fruits Basket is not. Fruits Basket tends to go from being high on comedy to high on drama with a tiny dash of action on the side.
Basically it's not an action show so it shouldn't be on Toonami, it's not that adult so it shouldn't be on AS. CN Primetime is just about the only place the show would work. Or maybe a pre or post Toonami time slot.
Well it will find its way on TV one day. FUNimation has said they want all of their properties on television.
I just don't know which channel will be willing to pick it up and it's definitely not Toonami or Adult Swim material.
"The advance is hip right now, but the original has a place in my heart, unlike pocket which only had the plastic grey, though color had killer appies for things like the sewing machine, not much use for virtual anymore, huh."
Maybe it'll end up on the anime channel at some point.
Normally, I'd say a show like this doesn't have a chance at airing because, until now, Cartoon Network was the only network that aired animes that weren't just an excuse to sell toys. And despite the broad range of animes Cartoon Network's given us when compared to any other network, they still only show action animes. But, in just the past two months some potential major anime networks have come to light; most notably the Anime Network, but also International Channel with their recent expansions in anime acquisitions and TechTV with thier recent "announcment". So, I'm sure Fruits Basket will eventually find a place on TV, it just most likely won't be Cartoon Network.
