Gundam 0080 is too short to give it's own slot, and 0083 isn't something I can watch multiple times, so they get to share a slot. Plus, I REALLY liked what little I've seen of Mobile Suit Gundam, and would want that to have a full hour.

Only problem is, 0080 was created for TMR and thus, CN would probably have a problem with it airing during normal hours due to it's "slightly less edited out" death content. Not to mention they do allow Bernie to say Hell a couple of times... then again, they did in Zoids CC as well.

If this whole Summer of Gundam thing never happens (and I doubt it will) I think it'd be great to dedicate a full hour slot of Toonami to a "Gundam Universe" that zmanjz suggested, showing all series in chronological order.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, those of you who know more about gundam than I do, but i believe 08th MS Team takes place in October of 0079. Wouldn't that put it at the very beginning, if not slightly before the events of MSG? In any case

4.0:MSG
4.5:MSG
5.0:08th MS Team, 0083, 0080 (they're all so short, they really have to share a slot to keep them fresh)
5.5: Picked Show (Similar to the sham of a vote that Nick uses to promote the shows that people hate and they're afraid to put on anytime else, except, y'know, with good shows)
Alternate Universe Hour
6.0: G Gundam
6.5: Gundam Wing
(Could be switched out for Turn-A, X, and SEED if/when they make it over here. Also, z, zz, etc. could all be feasibly switched into the UC slots when they come stateside.)

No, 08th MS does start to take place in October, but MSG starts in September. The first episode of 08th takes place around the time of episode 13 or so of MSG (as you can tell by the broadcast of Garma's funeral).

Yeah, thanks. I'd have picked that up if I'd seen 08th MS Team recently. Then again, I remember reading it in PoJo's guide to Gundam Wing (funny that it has UC stuff in it, no?). And as written here (warning, I don't agree with the whole article, just certain things. Guarenteed offensive to PoJo fans, but good for a few chuckles) PoJo seems to be full of Crap-o. Or something. Then again, 0080 is only 6 episodes long, 0083 is 12, and 08th MS Team is only 12-13. They'd get old fast.

12.0 (AM): Gundam Z-Gundam ZZ
12.5: Gundam Roullete

Saturdays:
1.0 (AM): Gundam SEED
1.5: Gundam Z-Gundam ZZ
2.0: 08th MS Team
2.5-3.5: Gundam MOVIEs (ie, Chars Counterattack, Gundam Wing Endless Walts etc.,)
3.5: Gundam X

Personally, I'd rather they start from the beginning and have them show MSG again, then give us Zeta Gundam.
