[indent]I just love figh-ting. This is the official talkback thread for the episodes of "Dragonball" premiering on Toonami November 11th through November 15th at 6.0 PM (5.0 Central). Would anyone like to comment on these episodes? While this thread covers the entire week please feel free to post about the episodes as they air!

I don't get it. It's been one hour and thirty minutes since the episode ended, and yet, no one's responding to this? Is Dragonball dead?

Oh yea, nice episode. It was fun to see Goku taking out the entire army of RR.

Lol,this episode was hilarious.I loved Commander Red's face when he found out Goku was getting closer to the dragonballs and defeating most of the army.ROFLAMO!!! Seeing Commander Red scared was too funny!

I would've gotten to this sooner but I needed to catch up on my homework...

Anyways, this episode was awesome. I just loved how Goku went into the base and kicked butt. Enough said, I think.

I am loving Dragonball.

The Dragonball gang are worried about Goku being over his head but I doubt they have anything to worry about.

Dragonball is exciting, well paced, and suspensful, unlike the borefest that is Dragonball Z. I can understand why Akira Tourymon ended it after the Buu Saga because there was nothing left to do with these characters. Too bad they continued it with GT.

Son Goku VS. RRT!!
A good episode with nothing but action. Looks like Violet is going to be the only top agent to make it out alive. Takes all the cash and gets out of Dodge.
Can't help but feel sorry for Com. Red. All he wants to do is make his wish with the dragon balls

Gotta love watching little Goku beating up at RRA. Just pure fun

And all of his friends rushing to help him, doesn't seem like he needs it

One thing that I really like about DB is that things happen in the episodes, fast paced! It just keeps coming! Kick ass! Bring it on!

I liked this episode and we are about to get to the good stuff...i don't think the red ribbon army impacts DB much after this though i could be mistaken. I have a few questions though...one has to do about this episode and one is just a general Dragonball question.

#1. Goku is getting shot at by machine guns...Goku knows how to create a Kamehameha, but so far he doesn;t have a clue how to control his power. He can not raise his ki when he wants too and can;t even fly...so how is it when he is getting fired at he doesn;t seem to flinch at all. He may be fast, maybe even as fast as a bullet but hes not that much faster...not yet anyways. He should've been hit a few more times and had a lot more damage...but it is just anime so i won't get into physics of the series...i mean he has a tail...lol...so it doesn;t have to be that realistic.

#2. Is General Blue gay? Not that i have a problem if he is i was just watching DBGT over again (i think i should spoiler the rest)

In answer to your question.
1-
Goku's skin is supposed to be super tuff, if you read the comic or see the fansubs of Dragonball- Bulma proves this point by shooting Goku with handguns or machine guns when he annoys her and he just acts like he was hit with a mallet.

2-
He is, ...I think, I just know that when Bulma tries to distract him with her female charms, they don't work.
She even considers that he must be gay and tries to trick him by saying she's a boy.

yeah, Blue's gay. Remember his "little brother" in the Penguin Village? well there was no "little brother" in the original.

I read about this years ago and its great to finaly see goku destroy the red ribbon army. I thought id never see it. Pretty good episode 4/5 stars.

Is this more intresting than Armada- Definetley

Did Torriyama care more about DB than DBZ? Debatable.

Excellant episode. He took out half of the RR in one episode. Had this been DBZ, this battle would be going on for about a month.

. Violet made a brief appearance. This is why I like Dragonball, Goku could actually use Yamcha and Krillin's help to fight the RR. Now wether they get there on time, I don't know, but the fact is Krillin and Yamcha can still lend a helping hand. That is what I like.
