Seeing the first episode made me wonder why some people didn't really enjoy the series at first. The problems I had at first didn't really seem like problems anymore, and things like the Sorceress's attitude made a lot more sense now. I also think I saw a scene that wasn't in the movie, where Skeletor sent Beast Man to summon the steeds after they shook off the rubble. The different opening and closing scenes of the episode were great, with the end of the episode closing in a cliffhanger.

4.5/5 stars for a cloudy beginning flashback.

I haven't seen the Beginning, but I saw it today... God Almighty, I LOVE THIS SHOW. =D As nice repeats are, I'm going to wait 'till the Marathon to record 'em all. (Except 'Sirens Song'. Double Yuch) That, and I want 'Turnabout' and 'Mekaneck's Lament' now! ^^;;;

Great episode. It's so much better than the 80s original that it's not even funny. Completely outclasses Armada.
