The Worst Gundam?

I've always been curious... Many people post polls concerning what there favorite show is or favorite series (as in Gundam or Dragonball continuations) they have, but I'm looking pessimistically, so...

What is the worst Gundam series to ever air?

I'll start this one off with...08th, no... MS...008, ah hell, I'll leave it up to you guys, I can't decide.

I don't want to put Gundam Wing on the poll, but I'll pacify you nonetheless.

I can't say GW because it started the Gundam trend in the U.S. But the Original Moblie Suit Gundam would have to be my pick. But who knows maybe I'm wrong.

Gundam Wing, if your going to rehash an old series, don't try to rehash 90 episodes into 49. It ultimatly comes up rushed and near plotless.

If one can not make an intelligent series don't try to.

Quinze and Tubarov were terrible villians and basically came out of nowhere.

Relena is by far the most useless person I have ever seen.

If your going to rehash a female character rehash Mirai, Sayla or Emma, do not rehash Fa, and Frau. At least Fa and Frau looked out for Orphans, Relena didn't have that oppurtunity so 80% of the time she's standing around pining for Herro.

Plus, the women in Gundam Wing are completely useless, and thats a shame because Gundam always had strong females.

0083. The character animation, IMO, sucks. The music, also IMO, sucks. The story, yet again IMO, sucks. This was my first UC Gundam, but I still can't stand it anymore.

ZZ sounds pretty bad, too, but I've never seen it to judge.

Btw, don't put Char's Counterattack up there. It's THE best Gundam movie ever! (Well, now that I think about it, Endless Waltz, G-Saviour, and the Turn-A movies aren't much competition. Heh. But don't forget about Miller's Report and Last Blitz of Zeon.)

And take off Zeta Gundam from this list!

The story's just an introduction to Zeta Gundam! At least it has more plot than GW.

Wing's fun to watch, unlike 0083. Wing may not have much depth, but it's fun watching the Gundam fights. It's not the best Gundam, but definately not the worst.

Fights? in WING? All they have is peace speeches! And besides, most of the fights are 'The Gundam Pilots take on a hundred grunt suits and only come out with a damaged paint job.' 0083 has something called REALISM. I must say that Wing's Gundam designs are cool and Heero, Duo, Quatre, Wufei, and Trowa might appeal to fangirls, but that's the only reason why GW has a huge fanbase. (Waitaminute here....) In war, you die or you don't! Either that or you have Newtype powers.

Despite Gundam Wings obvious flaws, its still my favorite. It got me into Gundam and Anime, and despite its flaws, its still really good.

The worst one IMO is G Gundam. When I watched it I found myself picking up a book all the time. The show just held no interest for me.

I can't decide. I was pretty disappointed with Wing, 08th MS Team, and 0083, but I can't decide which ones the "worst."

I’ve heard ZZ and V are both pretty bad, but I haven’t seen either one so I can’t very well pick them. :b

Actually, it's a prequel, not an introduction (you're supposed to have seen Zeta first). And I wish the DID focus more on leading into Zeta rather than on Kou and Nina's childish antics.

Well, up until a few days ago, I had liked every Gundam series I've seen. I wouldn't rank many of them among my all time favorite animes, but I felt all were pretty good. I'd rank G-Gundam as the lowest, because the DBZ-like nature with all these filler episodes, Domon never losing, 'Shining Finger' over and over again, etc... don't misunderstand me though, I really like G-Gundam, simply not as much as the other Gundam shows.

Anyway, a few days ago I saw the one Gundam not listed in the poll, G-Savior. This one was vomit inducing and easily nails the spot. Horrible plot, horrible script, horrible acting, was bored to death 2 minutes in, etc... the only good thing about it was that some familiar Gundam voice actors like Enuka Okuma (Lady Une in Gundam Wing) and Brendan Beiser (Oscar in Mobile Suit Gundam) were in it.

They have plenty of fights. While they're pretty one-sided, they're still fun to watch. 0083 may have realism, but it doesn't have something I call "value". 0083 doesn't have a good ending, a good plot, good art, or anything else that would make me want to watch. It's not horrible, but it's not good at all. Wing isn't good, either, but it's not bad by any means.

The Gundams in that movie were not that bad. G-Saviour was a decent movie. Ok, so it wasn't.

Having only seen what has sofar aired on toonami and ASA, I can say that I like all gundam... (although I've heard badddddd things about G-savior, (the liveaction gundam movie)

I still like Gundam Wing, yes, I now know that it's a retread etc, etc, but as far as war stories go it still gets the job done. And the mechs designs are nice and varied. (G Gundam's mech designs are varied too, but half of them are stupid to the point of being comedic.) GW also has the advantage that its storyline isn't spread across half a dozen series. Once you finish watching it, you're actually finished watching it.

Mobile Suit Gundam is my pick for worst. I like the UC stuff, 8th MS Team, 0080 and 0083 were all enjoyable to watch. But MSG, well, it's just got these long stretchs of being really repetitive, and Amuro whines too much for my tastes. It's my understanding that MSG was the first anime to give war a realistic treatment, and for that I give it props, but you know a show isn't the greatest when it can't hold your interest and you continually want to slap the main protagonist.

My least favorite is Gundam Wing. I don't know maybe it is Heero, who for some reason or another I can't stand, that made it really hard for me to watch. Relena also got on my nerves after a while. I really tried hard to like it, but the more I forced myself to, the more I dislike it.
