G Gundam & Gundam Wing Crossover!!!!!!

    Like This Thread!
That's right. To those who don't know, there's a crossover series featuring your favorite characters from G Gundam and Gundam Wing!

(Eager fanatic: YAY!!!!!!!! Now we'll see who's the better Gundam!!!)

Simmerdown there. This crossover is NOT an anime. It was a short manga series known as Domon W. And another thing, everyone including the Gundams are chibified.

    (WTF?!)

Yep. But you can be surprised at all the quirks that they make fun of in this short series (i.e. Dorthy's eyebrows. I never knew that was possible). Do any of you have a favorite strip from the Domon W series? Tell me!

My favorite? Heero tries to hijack God Gundam, but he's shocked at the G Gundam type cockpit. Domon calls him an idiot for not knowing how to pilot that Gundam, but then HE gets confused at the cockpit of (i assume) Wing Zero!

There's also a series of RPG/strategy games that all have massive anime crossovers from various Gundam shows, including Wing, G, X and pretty much all of UC. It's called Super Robot Wars. Perhaps you've heard of it?

And aren't the Domon W things the strips they publish in the back of the GW manga?

It's an offical comic. Created by Tokita himself. But yes, that is a popular thing to do in Japan.

Please note that it does include spoilers for G Gundam.

My favortie strip is the one where Wufei asked to be trained by Master Asia and he shows Wufei his two students> Domon and his senior, Fuunsaikii. Wufei changes his mind.

my faves are the Dorothy ones, the Eyebrows one abnd when she re designs the Allenby's gundam to look like her

also the one where everyone ignores Quatre and he starts to flip out, that's funny

I like the one where Swartz puts on Zech's mask, but leaves the stupid beanie on the back

wow, there were more of these that I liked than I remember

That was hilarious. The part with Domon and Master Asia trainging was great. And how everybody loved Relena was weird, I would think they would go for Rain , but it was still funny. This one is funny with the Wing pilots feelings:

These comics are probably the only reason to buy the GW manga. They're hillarious.

there was a time where I skipped the main story and went straight for the Chibis, but toward the end of the run they started to seem out of order

ie strips that were relevant earleir in the run were being placced toward the end and who can forget the "talk" show featuring Trowa Wufei and Argo, that was great!! poor Rain she was always hotter than Relena and a hell of alot more interesting too

I definately feel sorry for Rain as well, but then soon we will meet Allenbey and we will probably understand part of her chagrin.

Those are funny as heck and makes me wonder why they never did anything like this with the UC characters. (but then, does anyone really want to see Amuro, Hayato, Kai and Ryu play "Super Smash Brothers"? OK, that was one of my ideas, but you get the point)

Ya, me too. I just don't particularly like the drawing or way they shove the story together in those 3 GW graphic novels. (The same goes for Battlefield of Pascifists if anyone cares.)

I remembered I had GW #3 and looked back to the chibi comics. I didn't know what G Gundam was the first time I had read it. Now it was much funnier. But it mad me kinda disappointed when it revealed who the masked Swartz is. I'm like, "oh crap! I wanted to find that out when I saw it in the episodes." Oh well.
Also, who the heck is that horse Foo? Ya, maybe I'll find that out later in the episodes too.

EEE!! The omake strips from the GW manga, I love those! Soon as I clicked on the thread, I KNEW that was what this would be about!

Actually, they've done something very similar with the UC characters, except in animated form. There were some OVA's called SD Gundam and it had chibi-formed UC character in various whacky situations and parodies.

Probably not as insane as mine, but worth noting for future reference. (but then, all of my insane ideas are still in my head. Besides, I doubt too many people would want to see a love triangle between Char, Lalah and, er, Garma)

Fuunsaiki is the horse of Master Asia.

You see him in episode 6 when Domon thinks of Master Asia and than yopu see him again when Master Asia lies about the Devil Gundam attacking him along with Shinjiku.

Master Asia trained Fuunsaiki so thats why in the comic his stated as being a student of Tohofuhei.

You don't see him inside Mobile Horse Fuunsaiki until episode 39.

Just wait for Allenby she's the gundam fighter of Neo-sweden and her trace suit is tighter than rain's trace suit.
