I just hope that it is better than Letdown. Maybe there will be some major changes this time, like a new Sara, or Tom. Intruder was great, and I hope Trapped In Hyperspace is good. I just wish Moltar would come back...

Maybe in another version of the promo it is, but it the ones I've seen and the one I downloaded off ToonamiArsenal, I'm entirely sure that it's Mocean Worker's "Detonator". The original video for the song is available here: http://www.moceanworker.com/av.html in RA and WMV format.

Of course, maybe the guy sampled the mission impossible theme, which is a possibility.

That...was a cool Promo. I do have to admit that The Intruder, and Lockdown's promo's where better...except the fact that Lockdown was....um...dumb (game was good though).

Lets touch on some points, and over analyze things!

1 * One shot Tom was putting on a microphone...hmmmmm
2 * The absolution is on a collision corse with earth?! MY HOUSE! Where's George Bush's Star Wars missle/meteor defense system when you really need it?
3 * Tom has become a major Icon for the Toonami world. There are so many graphics and such that would have to be replaced in order for another host (sorry to say, but like Moltar) to take over. Tom's face is painted everywhere, from theaters to the TMGU...I don't think they have the time, or money to fix that.

    4 * Sara could change...Her face isn't plastered everywhere! Or...um...dare I say it....will sara come back?

5 * The Absolution could change...when your infected with a virus, heading towards earth in hyperspace...something is bound to be broken, or changed.

The fact that, that one little sentence was added to the commercial sent a much needed chill down my spine..."On a Collision course with earth." Do you realize that ToM Toonami, has never even been to earth, none the less heading at it at light speed.

All in all....I can't wait. It doesn't look like Toonami.com will be doing Teams again...or they would have had early sign ups...for organization matter...the usual Blah.

The fact is....we'll never know until this next damn week gets over. A lot of us thought Lockdown would be great.....No one was expecting Tom to die in the Intruder.....I do not need to say more. Expect the unexpected....but keep an eye on your expectaions.

(OH! The music was definitly cool!)

I hope Sara gets a make over. A body or something, even if it was just still on the screen (like the virus).

thanks to all of you who directed me to Arsenal's features area, I would have never thought to look there, i just thought they slacked off when it came to lockdown (considering they do such a bang up job on everything else!)

    Well...Things can't be a hit everytime.

Personally I think that They have been working on TIH for a while....maybe even while working on Lockdown. If that is the case then they had to pay attention to one or the other. I have no proof to back this up though.

    Re: Trapped In Hyperspace

I also saw this promo yesterday during Toonami too. It looks a lot better than Lockdown so far, and theirs a new character that looks like a villian that wants to destory the Tom, Sara, and the Absolution.

Last years event Lockdown, was more like promotion for their new online Toonami game, instead of a mini series like how they did for The Intruder. We will have to see it when it comes out.

I have a couple of questions regarding this: Will Toonami.com have this whole "series" viewable for those who might miss it on TV? if not, is there a website that will have it available??

How long will the video games be up at Toonami.com?? How many "episodes" per day will there be?? Do they repeat?

There will be 5 parts, 1 a day from Sept. 16-20th. Lockdowns episodes were only 1-5 mins, but Intruder was 3-9 mins, or sumtin like that. So well jus have to wait and see

To me, the virus sounds like C. Martin Crocker (Moltar/Zorak). (Shrugs) I'd have to hear more before I can say for sure.

No, but it's possible that the CN website might carry them.
