Hey you reminded me of something. He-Man must be the mystery In-Flight movie coming in August.
After reading through the new summer schedule for Cartoon Network and celebrating about GI Joe's return to the small screen I found something missing - what happened to the He-man premiere movie that we were told would be broadcast over the summer?
In the initial press release I remember it being mentioned that through out the summer Toonami would be having a premiere event movie for Masters of the Universe - much like Samurai Jack experienced last summer. Is there any chance that the show will be premiering in August or will this to be held back indefinetely (much like JL:TAS's "Injustice For All")?

Yup. It's a signature. Go away if you're expecting something interesting here.
It's highly possible - can't wait to see it, esp with Micheal Reeves of Gargoyles and B:TAS writing it!

He-Man info: New toys are coming on July. Suspected is that on August will air the animated feature film of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Also a whole new cartoon series will air on September. (rumour)
But what I´m personally waiting from this fall, is the new game coming on GameBoy Advance and the new limited edition comic.
And if you´re just looking for some He-Fan -Art, Click here

That makes sense. Then He-Man would replace PPG at 5:30.Originally posted by MDawg957

I would agree with MDawg957 and his theory about the He-Man movie that could be the mystery In-Flight movie for August.

Toys in July, movie in August, and then the series starts in September.
I can't wait! Here is a link to the new image, which we are assuming is what the cartoon will look like:

Last time we saw He-Man, he'd been zapped to another world with crappy animation. Think they'll address that? Actually, I think I'd like it if they restarted the show from scratch. Origin story. Make Adam more human, feels completely helpless without the sword... If they stick to the same old formula with pretty art, I don't think I'd stick around.
And Skeletor just wants to take over the world so he can find "Rosebud"![]()
They'd also need to kill Orko. Just leaving him out of the series wouldn't be enough. He has to be destroyed.![]()
[indent]They are restarting the show completely from scratch. The upcoming show Transformers: Armada on the other hand is a continuation of the (I believe) original Transformers series.
They are starting from the begining again. No He-Man on Primus (although some of the episodes of the New Adventures were quite good). The new movie starts off with King Randor as Captain Randor and continues to give the origin of how Adam receives the powers of Grayskull. But, sorry, Orko will be present, at least in the toys.Originally posted by EinBebop
