LAST TIME!
Naruto and Kiba were sent to protect the treasure bowl and make sure it is escorted to a musuem in a different land to be set up and displayed. Joining them for the journey was Shin'emon, a character so grating that even the fans wanted to see him die as much as Naruto and Kiba. Why? He valued a bowl more then ninja children's life, got Naruto and Kiba smacked with a safe, fall into the ocean, got chased and beat around by bandits and then having to fight a gaggle of generic one time thieves, but also had a pretty annoying Michael Sinterniklaas voice. Still Shin'emon was determined to let nothing happen to the bowl even at the cost of his own life. Until a cave in caused the bowl to collapse as he realized the value of life when Naruto saved him. Turns out though that they didn't need to bother worrying to much about the bowl anyway as Shin'emon could just make another one leaving a confused Naruto and Kiba and an irriated auidence still asking for his blood.



Naruto, Sakura, and Lee are sent to escort a prisoner shinobazu named Gantetsu to the Forest Country capital. Their job is to back up the escort group in case the other shinbazu Gantetsu was partnered up with come to try and free him. When they get to the boat Gantetsu is being is being transported on, they meet Todoroki, who seems to hate Gantetsu and thinks he is guilty no matter what. Will the three ninja be able to fend off any attacks if Gantetsu's friends come to save him?

MISSION ESCORT GANTESTU TO FOREST CAPITAL!

Naruto Uzumaki- (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf. Rank: Genin):
Naruto is the main protaginst of this show. The "Number One Hyperactive Ninja"s main goal is to become the greatest hokage the hidden leaf village has ever had and gain the respect of everyone. He's fought some pretty tough opponents in his past (and mastered some pretty powerful jutsu along the way, including the Shadow Clone Jutsu, the Summoning Jutsu, and the Rasengan) but was unable to save his best friend Sasuke from going to Orochimaru. While waiting for Jiraya to get back to continue his training, Naruto is obsessed with finding Sasuke any way he can. And also accepting some pretty ridicolous missions. This one involves escorting prisioners and finding out secret connections with them and other characters. Speaking of other characters who is joining Naruto this mission? None other then his team from the third movie (hopefully being more important to the plot then they were in the third movie...)



Sakura Haruno (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): A female ninja (aka kunochi) in training with a huge crush on Sasuke (and growing tolearnce/like for Naruto) Sakura is the last of the three member squad of Team 7. She is the weakest of the team but with a talent for chakra control and seeing through genjutsu she does seem to be in her own way getting stronger. Well that way is actually training with Tusnade in trying to be a good medical ninja so she can actually track Sasuke with Naruto next time they go hunting for him. Sakura's usually training and dosen't go on many missions but she's going on this one hopefully helping out Naruto in guarding Ganetstu. The third on this mission is...


Rock Lee (Age: 13. Allegiance: Leaf. Rank: Genin).
A Hyperactive Youth who always pushes himself to train as much as possible, Leaf is a determined young ninja filled with the power of youth. Though not gifted in Ninjutsu or Genjutsu Lee is quite good at Taijutsu training himself to be super strong and superfast. Lee is always seen training (usually with Gai though occasionaly with Naruto like he is tonight) and is joining the team on this mission. Will he be able to actually be useful like he has been on a few of these filler missions or wind up even more left behind then he was in the canon storylines?

People have been good with the cannon spoilers and I'm letting filler spoilers slide a bit since we're in the final stretch of filler (73 out of 85 means only one seventh left to go people).

NOTE ONE: People had believed Naruto would end on Cartoon Network last week with 208. Nope seems we're getting the remainder of the episodes, though next week is the repeat of the third Naruto movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom. Valentine's Day weekend is Small Soliders (for uh... some reason) so 210 is coming at earliest Febuary 21st for those of you still watching just on Cartoon Network.

NOTE TWO: Toonami Jetstream is offically dead. Cartoon Network has gotten rid of all traces of Toonami now and if you want to see legal online Naruto related to CN, you can watch it on CN Video which is showing episode 107 currently. Viz is also streaming episodes but yet again they are ones beyond this one so proceed with caution if you want to check them out.

IMO, the Toonami legacy is done as soon as these 12 final episodes have aired. The spirit will live on, but these final six hours worth of material are it for physical representation.

Thanks for mentioning that Cheddar. Changed it to make it accurate. Though really, couldn't action flicks at least be you know all the animated CN movies. I mean really Small Soldiers has action but... eh I guess with Toonami being offically dead CN is just entirley redoing they're action thinking even if that means classifying life action movies even more then they were before as action oriented ones or comedy oriented ones that can play on blocks without anyone really noticing it.
