NARUTO EPISODE 164 TALKBACK!

Japanese Title: "The Late Supporter"
English Title: "Too Late For Help"



After having spotted the "ghost" around the land of birds Naruto and co decide to visit Lord Sagi (Shishima's old friend). After foiling an assination attempt on the lord they find him to be bitter, cold (well Tenten thinks he's hot) and voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch. Feeling that they'll eventually get over helping Sagi with his anger issues they decide to tail Kou Mai (the tactican who looks the most suspcious about being behind the ghost) for evidence. They find him conversing with the ghost which the team is able to defeat with teamwork. With Kou Mei being taken in it seems like the case is closed. However Neji finds out that the ghost is different then the one they fought from before making him believe there are two ghosts around!



With two ghosts around it seems like this arc isn't over yet. However why is the team calling it quits? Well for whatever reason they are, Naruto's not giving up and will do anything to get to the truth. But will the title be right saying he'll be too late to do so?

Naruto Uzumaki- (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf. Rank: Genin):
Naruto is the main protaginst of this show. The "Number One Hyperactive Ninja"s main goal is to become the greatest hokage the hidden leaf village has ever had and gain the respect of everyone. He's fought some pretty tough opponents in his past (and mastered some pretty powerful jutsu along the way, including the Shadow Clone Jutsu, the Summoning Jutsu, and the Rasengan) but was unable to save his best friend Sasuke from going to Orochimaru. While waiting for Jiraya to get back to continue his training, Naruto is obsessed with finding Sasuke any way he can. And also incredibley stupid missions, like trying to find some ghost. Or actually make that ghosts. And while he's trying to find proof other members of his team seem to be giving up, including...


Ten Ten(Age: 13. Alleigance: Leaf. Rank: Genin).
Out of all the young genin in Konoha we know the least about her. All we know is she's good at throwing weapons (though that hasn't helped her win a battle. Well unless you count these filler battles where they're surprisngly useful), admires Neji and shakes Lee a lot to try and wake him. Really she's in desperate need of characterization. Well I guess she's good in a fight if the script calls for it and uh gets crushes on pretty boy fuedal lords with Jonny Yong Bosh voices. But she's giving up on the ghost finding along with...


Neji Hyuuga (Age: 13. Allegiance: Leaf. Rank: Genin).
Older cousin of Hinata and heir to the cadet side of the Hyuuga family Neji had a chip on his shoulder about destiny and fate until Naruto showed him he could change it. Now vowing to never loose again Neji still trains hard with his powerful Byakuagan vision. He gets roped into going on another mission to hunt ghosts (or whose behind said ghosts), and actually is able to defeat one of them but mentions there's another. So why's he giving up? Uh guess you'll have to see on that one.

NOTE ONE: Here's the Cartoon Network Toonami schedule for this week. We can only hope that this lasts through May and June and uh... well I guess it'd be too impossible to get those other two hours back for other programs would it?

10:00PM - Blue Dragon (Seventh Episode. It's a repeat of the premiere of "Trouble With Ghosts" that will air this Saturday morning at 9AM. Interestingly enough while the Naruto team is dealing with ghosts so are Shu and co so lots of ghost in this one.)
10:30PM - Samurai Jack (Seventh Episode. This one dosen't have ghosts but it does have three blind archers and is one of the least dialogue filled Samurai Jack episodes. Defintley makes IV-VI look chatty in comparison).
