Dragonball Z Episode 12 "The End of Snake Way

In This Episode of DBZ: Gohan is continuing his training under Piccolo, while Goku concludes his journey to King Kai's. However, one night Piccolo discovers a shocking surprise that could cause Gohan to transform once again!

    Characters

Goku: Was sent to the planet Earth when he was only a baby. He was raised by his adoptive Grandpa Gohan, untill his death. Later on he was trained by the legendary Master Roshi. He is a noble and strong warrior that will never turn down a fight or give up. He is known as a hero through the eyes of many people, especially due to his defeat of the evil King Piccolo. He wasn't even aware of his Saiyan heritage untill his brother, Raditz, came looking for him on Earth a few years ago. He died while fighting Raditz, and is currently on Snake Way, so he can train under the legendary King Kai.

Gohan: The Son of Goku, and named after Goku's Grandpa Gohan. He has shown hidden powers while fighting Goku's evil brother, Raditz. Piccolo has decided to take him on as his pupil and train him. He is currently facing the survival test portion of Piccolo's training.

Piccolo: The reincarnated son of King Piccolo. When he was born, he became just like his father, hungry for world power and terror. His goal in life was to avenge his father's death and defeat Goku. He reluctantly joined forces with Goku when Goku's brother, Raditz, came to Earth. He managed to kill both Raditz and, ironically, Goku using his special beam cannon technique. He knows Gohan has hidden powers within him, so he has decided to take him under his wing and train him himself, before 2 more Saiyans, Nappa and Vegeta, arrive on the Earth in one year.

Krillin: Goku's best friend since childhood, when they began training under Master Roshi. He always fights alongside the rest of the Z Warriors. One of his goals in life is to find a beautiful woman and marry her.

I like the Uncut one better (slightly) but I still like this episode. I always liked the way how Piccolo took Gohan in to train, and how Gohan actually becomes one of the coolest DBZ characters (he peaks during the Cell Games of course). I never really liked the Snake Way part, only because it took too much time (especially in the uncut). Nonetheless, I still give it a 7/7, it's a good episode to watch IMO.

Personally, I have a reason to dislike this episode.
    Spoiler:
Piccolo destroys the ship that Goku came to Earth with as a baby to stop Gohan's transformation. However, Dr.Briefs uses this very same ship to make a new ship for Goku to get to Namek later on in the series. However, that's not possible considering what Piccolo did to it. Ugh, the continuity issues filler creates. ><

Hmmm, I forgot about that, I've heard about that continuity problem before (and I know of a few others too), I guess I just forgot about it when I was watching it. You know.... I hate continuity problems.......lol

Meh, the only intresting part about this episode is that Goku reaches the end of snake way.

The rest of this episode..... Bleh, what a crapfest.

    Spoiler:
First we have Goku's spacepod, which apparently has been running for 20 years.(Ugh...) Then we have Toei at it's laziest for the animation in this episode.

All they did was reuse scenes from the last time Gohan went Oozaru when Gohan was transforming then we have the scene where Piccolo tries trapping Gohan in Piccolo's attack entitled "Roshi's Lightning Suprise" and Toei decided to reuse the same footage that was used in that episode but redrew it so Piccolo was using the attack and Gohan was the one trapped.

Also, because of this episode, we have the whole plot hole in the Namek Saga where Goku says that Dr. Briefs is building a spaceship out of parts from the pod that Goku came to earth on. But that's impossible Goku, PICCOLO DESTROYED YOUR SHIP.

    Okay... I'm done ranting. >_>
I'm just some immature 17 year old that likes making stupid videos, and Dragonball Z.

    LET'S GO OUT SOMETIME
