Naruto- (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): Naruto is the main protaginst of this show, and OAV. The "Number One Hyperactive Ninja"s main goal is to become the greatest hokage the hidden leaf village has ever had and gain the respect of everyone. He's fought some pretty tough opponents in his past (and mastered some pretty powerful jutsu along the way) and is now in for the fight of his life. Well race currently of his life anyway trying to help Idate win. Even though out of anyone in his group he has the biggest grudge against Idate and argues with him quite often.
Sasuke- (Age: 12. Allegiance: Leaf) The brilliant genin and Second Sharrigan user of Team 7 and one of the two living Uchida, Sasuke is an avenger with a mission: Get strong enough to beat his brother Itachi. Sasuke may of lost against Itachi several episodes ago, but his wounds are healed and he's ready for his latest mission. Sasuke took care of some punks from the other clan quite easily before but is he ready to go up against the ninja actually part of the race? Read on and find out.
Sakura- (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): A female ninja (aka kunochi) in training with a huge crush on Sasuke (and growing tolearnce/like for Naruto) Sakura is the last of the three member squad of Team 7. She is the weakest of the team but with a talent for chakra control and seeing through genjutsu she does seem to be in her own way getting stronger. In fact recently in the movie she proved to actually have a good technique or two. Will this translate over into this arc and be of any use in helping win the race for the Wasabi and...
Idate- (Age: Unknown. Allegiance: Tea Country/Wasabi Clan). He's the runner for the Wasabi clan in the race. He has Rock Leeish weights on his legs and a very argumentive attidue with Naruto. But will he be able to win for the Wasabi clan and defeat... 
Aoi- (Age: Unknown. Allegiance: Tea Country's Wasaragi Clan) A whirlwind ninja who is trying to prevent Idate from winning. We've seen him

NARUTO EPISODE 103 TALKBACK!
Japanese Title: "Sinking Naruto! Conspiracy of the Great Whirling Sea!"
English Title: "The Race is On! Trouble On The High Seas!"
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were assigned a mission (without Kakashi who was busy with another mission due to the decline of ninjas in Leaf Village since the Orochimaru invasion): to guard and protect Idate of the Wasanbi clan. It turns out every few years in the Land of Tea a race around the country determines which clan will rule the country and this year the Wasnbi clan has chosen the fast (but not too well motivated) Idate to run for them. However a rival clan has hired a powerful Ninja to join the race and stop him. Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto get off on the wrong foot with this guy (espically when he tries to run off on a bill and have them pay) and Idate literally runs off the wrong way during the race. Just what is this guy planning? Wait and see.
Naruto and the others continue to try and protect Idate. However the other clan isn't about to let him pass so easily. And in addition to the rival ninja Aoi they hired some others to stop Idate at any cost. Some others that Naruto and co are somewhat familar with...
(Note Spoiler Marks on them for your protection. I don't care if I'm overzealous and overprotective of character spoilers: it's just the way I feel they should be, that's all. Oh and I'm temporary "stealing" Captain Zechs image with bio style since it worked well for him and will work well for me too hopefully.

Even If This is a "Filler" epsiode don't spoil other fillers and espically other important episodes down the road, espically a certain saga that's looming down the road after this one. Seriously not everyone has heard about it and seen it so don't ruin it for them here okay.
NOTE ONE: Regular Toonami Schedule as mentioned before starts this week to at least October. And that is.

Some times Naruto's attitude really bothers me. It's clear poor Idate is suffering from some emotional trauma. He doesn't need Naruto screaming in his face. Not to mention he's just as much of an arrogant idiot.
I liked this episode. Return of the evil scuba divers from Mars and their flame arrows of doooom.

So, how much CAN Naruto characters lift? Considering those heavy weights Rock Lee carries around it's not inconceivable that Sakura could lift a mast.
I actually thought this episode was pretty good. If this is what most fillers are like those 80 episodes should go by in no time.
It was nice seeing the gas mask ninjas again. So, are they triplets or what? I notice one of them has no eye holes in his mask and one has only one eye hole in his mask. Is the guy with no eye holes blind or something?
