Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo "The Pacifist That Packs a Pinch Like a Pugilist" Talkback (Spoils)

    Like This Thread!

Episode 67: "The Pacifist That Packs a Pinch Like a Pugilist"
Japanese title: Incredibly Stro~ng! Meet the Callously Heartles Hero☆!! / Open the Devil's Door...! The Dark Emperor Finally Appears!!"
Original Japanese Airdate: July 30, 2005

    Last Time:

As the bouillabaisse showdown continues, Bo-bobo's team continue to try to knock some damage onto General Lee Fishcake (outside the scars he created himself), attempting to break through his fishcake shields, lock him with self-made keys and turn him into a (literal) shooting star. But as the fishcake-head finally powers up to his limit, Jelly finally turns it into a personal battle...which falls apart instantly. But his sacrifice and Bo-bobo's concern brings them together to a new fusion: the violently-peaceful Bojiggler.

    Meet the Bona-fide Stars:

    Team Wiggin' -

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo: The Bo-tector with the yellow fro, he's the main character in case you're too thick to figure out. Bo's the master of the Fist of the Nose Hair, extening 9-foot long nose hairs that is. Bobobo's on a quest to save all of mankind's hairstyles from extinction by the Hair Hunt Troops of Czar Baldy Bald. That is, whenever he's not beating up on his own teammates, dressing up for skits, or just acting crazy in general. Don't try to understand him, lest you wish for your head to explode. He's currently fused with Jelly Jiggler to form the violently-peaceful Bojiggler.

Don Patch: Every good hero needs a sidekick by his side. And usually said sidekick has a fighting style that compliments the hero's. Don Patch however, compliments Bobobo in terms of personality. Not much one to fight, the former leader of the wiggin' tribe is always caught wiggin' out, complaining about screen time and absorbing abuse like a sponge. When pissed off, however, he can truely kick ass.

Beauty: Every good lengthy action cartoon needs a female teenage that offers the hero support. Beauty is said woman. One of the only sane characters in the show, Beauty's always on hand to basically deliver shocked reactions at Bo's antics. It's a wonder she's still sane at this point.

Gasser: Every good, wait hasn't this intro been used enough now? One might assume Gasser's the dreamy teenage male counter-part to the Beauty's position that falls in love with said female. Well he's certaintly one of the other sane members except for the fact that he fights with his own flatulence. His Fist of the Backwind abilities are so powerful, they need to regulated by the collar on his neck. Beauty often calls him Gas-can.

Softon: Is his head really full of crap or he is truly a single scoop strawberry swirl? Whatever his head's made of, it doesn't makes matters much different with this former hair hunt trooper. Softon's fighting style grants the ability to channel the powers of the Godess Blabs-A-Lot. He suddenly vanished after Bobobo and crew defeated the mighty Captain Battleship. He just rejoined the gang recently, and it looks like he has a few tricks up his sleeves.

Jelly Jiggler: He's pompous, he's emotional, he's....LITCHI FLAVORED?! Another former bad guy and ex head of the A Block Hair Hunters, Jelly Jiggler is pretty much the guy that cushions blows when Don Patch can't. His Fist of the Wobble Wobble lets him shape his gelatin body into various shapes and forms. Now Jelly Jiggler has returned to help Bobobo and Don Patch defeat the headless troops in wiggin' battles, but will his wiggin' skills prove powerful enough when he can't fly? He's currently fused with Bo-bobo to form the violently-peaceful Bojiggler.

Dengaku Man: This former leader of the head hunters has become the beloved mascot for Bo-bobo and his team. He doesn't have any special powers, but Bo-bobo uses him as an extension for his fist of the nose hair all the time. All he cares about is making people eat dengaku and making as many friends as possible.

Hatenko: Don Patch's biggest fan, he's royally obsessed with the workings of The Don and is devoted to his acts. Hatenko keeps hair hunters locked up nice and safe, literally, with the powers of his Fist of the Key. He had a mark on his neck earlier, but once Bobobo defeated Torpedo Girl, Hatenko found he was destined to join Bobobo and company to save the world at all costs.

Torpedo Girl: This (wo)man is actually a former villian in disguise after (s)he has been turned angry. However, (s)he wasn't satisfied with his/her original loss to Bobobo, so (s)he decides to join the team and takeout the evl Baldy Bald Empire. Just be sure you don't say any jokes around her though, or you may be in for a dangerous explosion of wackiness. She's secretly in love with Softon.

Newton the Narrator: The most mysterious member of the group, he seems to follow them wherever they go and knows what'll happen twenty steps ahead of everyone (except when the writers don't inform him of something).

    BTW, concerning the poll...

Considering this is the final 10 episodes, I figured I'd allow you, the fans, to decide on your favorite characters from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.

This week, we'll decide on your favorite hero.

The terror has returned, and I'm not talking about Beauty's crazy hair day. No, it's "No Poll" man.

Bo-Jiggler may be a peaceful warrior, but I get the feeling his powers will shock the pants off of General Lee fishcake. Who wouldn't want a warrior like this on there side anyway?

Actually, when I began typing it, it was before the post above mine came along, but as far as the poll goes, I would do a favorite villain poll featuring all the main villains, and possibly a favorite hero poll. A favorite side character poll could also be done in those final few weeks.

I'll do the hero poll this week, as we still have one main villan to get to.

Is the last part of the General Lee Fishcake fight? Because let me be honest, I haven't been feeling it with Fishcake as I had with the last few team battles. The first part felt really slow, last week picked up a bit, hopefully we can finish this.

I can't speak by knowledge, but anytime Bobobo has fused in the past, it's been worth watching. I see no reason this battle won't be the same:

Especially when this fusion is voiced by Johnny Young Bosch.

Let me see if I can predict which polls will come up.

    Week 1: Heroes
    Week 2: Main Villains
    Week 3: Side Characters
    Week 4: Lesser Villains
    Week 5: Fusions
    Week 6: Super Fists
    Week 7: Best Battles
    Week 8: Wiggin' Out Scenarios
    Week 9: Best Saga
Week 10: Overall performance of the series!

Beauty will NEVER get a pony, at least until after the show is over, and the people get severance pay!

    Actually, it'll look more like...

    Week 1: Heroes
    Week 2: Side Characters
    Week 3: Lesser Villains
    Week 4: Fusions
    Week 5: Super Fists
    Week 6: Best Battles
    Week 7: Wiggin' Out Scenarios
    Week 8: Best Saga
    Week 9: Main Villains
Week 10: Overall performance of the series

I'm moving the main villan poll to the second-to-last episode, so that we let the final big villan (at least, of the anime) have a chance to prove himself.

All these food puns are making me hungry.

Who voices Mr. Bojiggler? Sounds like Vic Mignogna.

Johnny Young Bosch. I just said it earlier that it was him. And he's jumping between his Renton and Ichigo voices with this guy. I'm liking this battle already.

Of course clowns are evil: They're out to DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL!!!! (Come on, he set me up on that)

    "More fighting."

    That's funny.
