Naruto "Attack! Fury Of The Rasengan!" Talkback (Spoilers)

Tonight is special because we're having a marathon of Ninja Action. Episodes 90-93 will be shown, as well as a double helping of new episodes Toonami's top rated show....

NARUTO EPISODE 94 TALKBACK!

Japanese Title: "Attack! Fury Of The Rasengan!"
English Title: "Attack, Fury Of The Rasengan!"

Tsunade explained to Kabuto and Orchimaru why she couldn't heal Oro's arms. Although she wanted to see her brother and husband again, she was reminded by Naruto's words and promise they're vow of protecting the leaf village due to how much they care for it. Tsunade knew Oro wouldn't keep his word and if healed he would of destroyed the villiage, which is why she planned on killing both of them right now. Kabuto and Oro we're able to dodge out of the way and get to a more open space where Kabuto battled Tsunade. Both side underestimated the other but due to Tsunade's lack of battle expierence over the years/fear of blood/the show not being able to potray female fighters as being able to beat skilled male opponents (according to the people who posted last week anyway) Tsunade was losign the battle. She as able to get a couple of hits on Kabuto and reconfigure his nervous system, but thanks to ingesting a food bill, weakening one of her arms and one of her legs and dodging her most fearsome blows, Kabuto was proving victor. The scale tipped a bit though when the others entered the Battle. Naruto realized the truth about Kabuto and attacked the young sound ninja villian and was swiftly defeated. Now Shizune is about to take down Kabuto while Orchimaru takes on Jiraya. Who will win this four man/two women/pig onslaught?

The battle continues as Shizune takes on Kabuto and Orchimaru takes on Jiraya. However Jiraya is still weakend from Tsunade's drink and Orchimaru (despite removing a bandage from one arm) is still unable to use jutsu. So just how will this shape out? And will Naruto finally be able to complete his Rasengan and defeat the sound ninja foes with it? Tune in and find out.

(Note Spoiler Marks on them for your protection. I don't care if I'm overzealous and overprotective of character spoilers: it's just the way I feel they should be. Also notice the rearranging of characters in order to classify the different "groups").

Spoiler:

GROUP ONE: Our Heroes

Naruto Uzumaki(Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): Our loudmouthed protagonist, Naruto has grown up completely alone because of the 9 tailed fox (Kyuubi) inside him. That was until he met Iruka and some other friends and realized he didn't have to be alone. His one desire is to become Hokage and recieve the acknowledgment of the other villagers. His special technique is Shadow Clone Jutsu(Kage Bunshin no jutsu), and he has now learned the Summoning Jutsu(Kuchiyose no Jutsu) from Jiraiya. He defeated Neji and Gaara in the Chunin Exam but due to the Orochimaru Invasion was not yet able to graduate to the Chunin Level. Also because of the invasion he set off on a quest to find the Third's successor Tsunade. However now he finds himself in the midst of battle with the strongest members of the sound village and must master the Rasengan if he hopes to defeat Kabuto, taught to him by someone else in the battle...

Jiraya (Age: 50, Allegiance: Leaf Position: One of the three Legendary Sennin) Jiraya is not only a supreme pervert and toad sage, but also one of the legendary Sennin (along with Tsunade and Orochimaru), the three strongest ninjas to come out of the Village hidden in the leaves. He's been "doing research" and keeping away for Konohagure for awhile, but ended up teaching Naruto the art of summoning and now is off with the young genin searching for Tsunade (as well as teaching Naruto a certain technique the fourth hokage created). And through his own way has come to share a sort of father/son (or at least teacher/master) bond that makes him fairly close with Naruto. He and Tsuande finally met but she rejected his offer. Jiraya knew she had met with Oorchimaru and warned her he would stop her if she helped him. Which is probably why she slipped him a "mickey" that zapped most of his strength and chakra making him a lot weaker then normal. Just what good will he do in a fight in his current state? Find out as he takes on Orochimaru who isn't as his peak either.

GROUP TWO: Our Villians.

Kabuto Yakushi(Age: 18, Allegiance: Sound): At first glance, Kabuto appears to be a nice genin, and an elder one who has failed the exam many times. In truth, Kabuto is actually a spy for Orochimaru and one of the top ninjas of the sound village. The true levels of his skill have been undocumented for quite awhile, but it was enough to escape being caught by Kakashi and make an entire crowd of specators fall asleep thanks to a special genjutsu. However we have seen just how powerful he is, using a string of medical offensive jutsu to make Tsunade fall to his knees, even after his central nervous system being tweaked around. However he's not done yet as he still has to take on Shizune and Naruto while his master takes on another battle. And of course his master would be....

Orochimaru(Age: 50, Allegiance: Sound. Positon: Another of the legendary Sennin): A deadly ninja who left the Village Hidden in the Leaves years ago, after Sarutobi discovered his evil ambition. He resealed the Demon Fox in Naruto, and gave Sasuke a Cursed Seal. Orochimaru summons snakes, and has many strange features with his body, such as a snake like tongue, and the ability to extend his neck. He masqueraded as the Kazekage in order to get close to Sarutobi. Unfournantly he lost the ability to use his arms thanks to the Third Hokage binding them with the Reaper Death seal (at the cost of his life) and is now unable to use any jutsu. He hopes to rectify that though by getting help from the legendary Tsunade, one of his former squad mates who he proposes a most intruging deal with: help him restore his arms and he'll resurrect her younger brother and lover who were killed long ago. She rejects the deal though and now has to have Kabuto fight his battles. However he's going to fight Jiraya as he takes off one of his bandages? But just what can he do with his arms still sealed? Tune in and find out.

GROUP THREE: Our Female Heroes

Shizune (Age: 28, Allegiance: I think we can savley say Leaf Village) The female traveling with Tsunade. She freaks out a lot when Tsuande gambles (due to Tsunade's constant loosing) and cares for her pet pig Tonton. She is incredibley fast and wields posioned needles with great accuracy, possibly at Kabuto's level (or at least strong enough that he recongnizes her talents). She is a very caring individual and is appaled at Oorchimaru's proposal and the fact that her traveling companion would even accept it, going so far as to attempt to kill her if she goes through it. She was stopped though and now has to stop Kabuto and hopefully still be able to take care of a tramutaized...

Tsunade (Age: 50, Allegiance: Used to be part of leaf village, currently none specifically. Position: The last of the three legendary Sennin). Like Jiraya, Tsuande has traveled around the world after leaving Tsuande. In addition to being an expert medical ninja (who proposed having a medic on each ninja squad, a policy still carried out to this day) as well as a gambling addict (even though she's so bad she earned the nickname "Legendary Sucker") she has tremendoulsy freaky strength and a pretty painful backstory: the people she cared about most (her younger brother Nawaki and husband Dan) had died before they realized they're dream of being Hokage. The necklace she carries (one that belonged to the first hokage, her grandfather) is all she has to remember them. The ordeal is what probably gave her the fear of blood she has and even consider accepting to help Oorchimaru heal his arms so he can destroy the leaf village, as it will bring Dan and Mawaki back to her. She rejects his propsal though and planned to kill him indirectly. She engaged in a full on battle with Kabuto and was defeated, partially due to her fear of blood which tramutized her. Will she be able to help out in anyway or look on in fear as those trying to protect her are killed around her?

OTHER CHARACTERS: Not this time gang as we once again focus on the prinicpal six.

I think we were pretty good with the spoilers last week so let's keep that flow going. Also even though both episodes are premeriing on the same day, this is a talkback about episode 94 only, not 95. So please keep any talk about episode 95 in it's talkback, not this one okay?

NOTE ONE: In case you didn't hear (from the schedule/last week's talkback/ the thread made for it/promos) there's going to be a Naruto Marathon tonight from 7-11PM. Here's the schedule.

7:00PM: Naruto Episode 90
7:30PM: Naruto Episode 91
8:00PM: Naruto Episode 92
8:30PM: Naruto Episode 93
9:00PM: Naruto Episode 94 (PREMIERE)
9:30PM: Naruto Episode 95 (PREMIERE)
10:00PM: Naruto Episode 94
10:30PM: Naruto Episode 95

Yeah that's right. We're repeating the last four episodes (think of it as a catchup of the Naruto repeat schedule being screwed up due to movies and specials the last couple of months) followed by a premiere of this and the next episode, as well as repeats of those two premieres. Guess Toonami wanted an all Naruto marathon and to make sure you saw these two episodes tonight. Also they seem to air anything Naruto with one repeat for it as a special (like the Second OVA having a repeat the same night it premiered).

NOTE TWO: Next week goes back to the standard Toonami schedule, with a repeat of Naruto episode 95 at 8:30PM and and a premiere of episode 96 at 9:00PM.

It'll be interesting to see this weeks fight as one healer dominates all (or so I think), but you know whenever Naruto is watching on the sideline, nwe potential is not far away.

I hope we get Version 2 of GO!!! By now, any possible spoilers would be out in the open so they don't have to worry about that.

I think that they were just worried about the shot of Kabuto fighting Naruto but that's been shown so everything should be ok to show it.

Eh, I don't know if they would bother putting in the second version in the beginning of every episode if they've already put the first version past the cutoff point in the original japaense version . Espically since

Not expecting it would get disappointing and OP 5 is really gonna suffer if this "not-changing" trend keeps up.

Oh well, there's always downlo...Uncut DVD's.

I dont think you needed to spoil that because they change the intro every 26 episodes anyway.

Yea, "Fury of the Rasengan"... you know Naruto will bust out this move during the fight, but will he finally get it right?

Kabuto owns Shizune, who is stronger than Boring-Sensei. He's just without equal.

And he's so cold blooded and badass, the way he beats around Tsunade and Shizune.
