It's still on Toonami, every Saturday at 7PM (except for this upcoming Saturday). They're currently in the middle of the Cell arc.
As for new episodes, there hasn't been a new Dragon Ball-related episode made in over 10 years, so no.

What do you get when you put three friends in a recording booth once a week, screen old anime, and tell them to make sense of it? You get the Anime of Yesteryear Podcast! Tune in each week as we kick back and discuss anime of old, both the well-known and the obscure, as well as our thoughts on the latest developments in the world of comics. (Updates Weekly!)
Also, it's just been pre-empted a lot lately and it's at the very beginning of the block, so it does appear to hardly be on quite a bit.
Well that's because it's in an essitanl "Filler" spot at the beginning of the block. I mean really we should be glad it just didn't get compeltley replaced with something else at this point. I do hope that Toonami quits it with the marathons and interruptions after the latest Narutoathon for awhile. Like at least the rest of the summer. But I have a bad feeling we'll get some sort of other interruption and DBZ will be hiatused again.
Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:
...... The same talkbacks you saw me do last year but with new episodes.
.... What are you doing still reading this? Move to the next post already! .
Yup, I can see that easily happening before the summers end.
4/13: FREEDOM!
DBZ ended over 10 years ago. It still airs on Toonami from time to time, but since it's over, there's no real incentive to keep showing the reruns.
Well, since as previously stated, the DB franchise has been over for more than a decade now, I think you can figure that one out for yourself.and is there still new episodes?
You know, you should buy the DBZ Season Sets. They're everywhere, and so far they have Seasons 1 & 2 out, Season 3 comes out August 28th. Each can be purchased somewhere between $29.99 and $39.99 (unless you want to pay full price....lol). So if you have about $30 Season 1 has episodes 1-39, and Season 2 has episodes 39-74 on it. So you can get 74 episodes for $60-$80. You can get them at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Borders(over priced there though.... like all of their DVD's). You can find them anywhere, and to make them stick out more, they're orange lol.
4/13: FREEDOM!
Unfortunately, the season sets crop off a fifth of the picture. It's best if you can find the old singles. Unfortunately, I hear many of them are being discontinued.
Though, if you buy the singles, you're stuck with the awful American music if you want to watch the dub. Hmmm...I guess you lose no matter which one you buy...
How do you know they don't care? Maybe they just buy them because they're cheap or they're the only DVDs available for the particular saga they want. Though, I really don't see your point either way. I mean, the Viz One Piece DVDs would be a great bargain if they weren't the 4K!ds version. Unless you're one of the people who don't care that it's the 4K!ds version. Which would be the majority of people buying the sets. My point is there's always people who don't care about a DVDs flaws, whatever they are. So, to point that out is rather pointless. How many times did I say the word point in this post?
I dno't consider the music to be awful. In fact, I watch the American dub with the American music half the time since you can watch it with the original Japanesse music or the American music. While I don't care for the remastered music, there's not much that beats Falconer's Vegeta theme, which does begin on the season 2 set when you get to the Ginyu saga.
College football, basketball, the NFL, the NBA, and MLB. I may not be an expert, but these sports always keep me fascinated if the game is good!

The Japanese Piccolo theme alone crushes any of the American music. Then again, I'm not really into the dub, either.
The American music is quite horrible, especially season 1. It's basically a flute half the time lol (I hate the music/theme for Goku's house/family). The Japanese music isn't really great either though. I like the loud kick _ _ _ music during the fights, not cheery fluffy music. That's the problem I have with the Japanese music is the usage of it in the majority of the fights. In Dragon Ball, it works, but in DBZ the fights are supposed to be more serious, so the music should be too. Other than the fights, I think the Japanese music is fine though. Oh yeah, and the whole "cropping" deal. It's not even bad.... at all. You can't notice it at all. The pics that they have, they had to have picked out the worst ones ever (and biased). Those frames were probably a split second, and you wouldn't even notice it. I haven't seen any bad scenes or deformed cropped characters in the first 2 seasons (74 episodes).
4/13: FREEDOM!
DBZ on Sat nights @ 7:00, but there has been a couple of marathons.
it's back on the 14th.

Personally, I would love for Cartoon Network to peg a slot during the weekdays and give us a COMPLETE run.
I love having it attached to Toonami since thats what made Toonami, but it just doesn't feel right always having it get kicked off for something else.
With Naruto on weekdays at 10:30 right now, I would love to see them build a mini-Toonami block leading into Adult Swim.
9:00 - Teen Titans
9:30 - Justice League
10:00 - DBZ
10:30 - Naruto
Heck, with Adult swim showing so Shoen type cartoons, I actually would love to see them mix things up and move Bleach up to 11:00 and Full Metal to 11:30.
This is wishful thinking but it wont be a bad line up. I am tentative to suggest this now because I'm not sure it will get good ratings during the summer then of course if it doesn't it, we wont see something similar again since it got bad ratings. Forget the fact it was summer!
That's a good schedule.
I'd watch it.![]()

They no longer have the rights to Dragonball, which is why it's airing on Colours TV. They do have Internet Streaming rights to Dragonball though, which is why it's now on Toonami Jetstream.
