    Toonami Intro Poll

    Like This Thread!
Please post your favorite Toonami intro ever here. Here are some things I want to say about this "poll":

--- If you can, when you post an intro could you:
    1. Tell what show its for (obviously)
    2. Tell what season or describe when it actually was on the air if it isn't a current intro.
    3. Whether TOM (1 or 2) or Moltar did the intro. (if the intro was that old)
    4. Any reasons why you like the intro

--- I am not making this a standard poll because there is simply too many choices to fit into the standard poll's max number of options (with it being 10).

--- You can post new and current intros.
--- You can't pick an original intro to be your favorite in this poll. This excludes Johnny Quest who didn't have a Toonami intro and used its own instead.
--- Mobile Suit Gundam's intro as seen on Toonami was believed to be made by William Street although it is WAY different from other Toonami Intros, so it can be a choice.
--- Original intros that are actually shown on Toonami (Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond at one point) are still not allowed in the poll.
--- You can also post "non-show" intros. What I mean by that are the intros that start Toonami, The intros to various Toonami special events (example: New Year's Eve-il), and intros like that.
--- Promos don't count. (Maybe I'll create a poll for a favorite promo one day)

    Side Note:
This topic was inspired by that thread that talks about the DBZ intros. Thanks for the inspiration. Sorry about the length of THIS post, but I had to explain the "rules" of the poll. I'll come by periodically and tally the votes and post the current results. And one final note:
Please be nice and post SOMETHING! I think this poll is a great idea and I would be HEARTBROKEN if nobody posted. Sorry for the dramatics

First place is the Big O intro. It starts out with the beginning of the show, Roger introducing himself and saying he performs a "much needed job". Then he summons Big O, shows clips of his adventures, then ends up showing Roger in Big O, plays a few seconds of the real opening music, then cuts to Big O about to throw a punch and the "pipes" title card zooming in in the last second. Very well put together.

Second is probably the MSG intro. It was very well timed, and it offered a nice change to the random clips that's usually on Toonami. Even back in the Moltar days it was just Moltar saying a catch phrase for the show then clips from the show, although not as random. While the MSG intro was clips from the show, it was well put together.

Then, in third, is the Batman intro. Its use of black and white defines the dark tone of the series pretty well, and is pretty much outlining his adventures. Its alternating from black and white is pretty cool, too, only showing black and white when it shows Batman's darker points. It also defines Thorne well, although it could've used a touch from the Joker, and the clips could've been used better, like in the Big O intro.

I'd have to say The Reboot Intro's about a year ago with Tom1.

I liked them because of the theme of technology and how it never works, while the images would be staticy and repetitve like a broken message. Along with Tom's little "have you worked with anything high tech". I just liked how it was put together. I also enjoy the new reboot one altho it doesn't have a theme like the originals.

Might as well make my first post in a poll....

Hmm..... my favorite intro? Ouch. You're making me pick between Big-O and Mobile Suit Gundam. It'll probably need to be MSG because everything fit; the music, timing, clips, etc.
