I say we air the Android/Cell sagas again!

    Like This Thread!
What do you think? The whole world is sick and tired of those 43 new episodes, and the Android/Cell sagas are a great point to fal back on, since they provide the backdrop for the Buu saga (duh).

This will give Funimation more time to produce the rest of DBZ and more of DB.

Once the Cell saga is finished, they can just start the 43 new eposides and pick up where they left off (The Final Atonement).

Actually, airing these sagas will take up too much time, since the new episodes arrive in February. This should have been done long ago!

New DRAGON BALL episodes in Febuary. No Z. There's plenty of time to show the Cell Saga again.

It's just that everyone's sick of it.

I say they start from the beginning.

How bout we don't and say we did.

Seriously I think DBZ has been overpl, ayed. THey should replace it with one of those anime that they have on Reactor.

The best thing to do would be to cancel it completely, but since that won't happen, I say start it from the beginning. As bad as the show was, atleast they had talented voice actors for most of the parts (can't say I like Bryan Drummond's Vegeta -_-) unlike the FUNI garbage which still sounds like crap.

This show annoys me SOOOOO much in many ways. It is *beyond* overrated. DBZ is not even that wonderful as its hype leads people to believe. I could care less if they took it off the air. They never will though, it's the root of money for Toonami sadly.

Toonami isn't even brave enough to give it a small little break. They act as if DBZ holds Toonami all together. There is alot more to Toonami than DBZ.

I wish they would show DBZ from the beginning again, I only started watching the show during the cell saga. Unfortunately they won't, but I'm sure much to the pleasure of other people here, they aren't showing DBZ for a while. It and Batman Beyond have been replaced with the Batman/Superman hour.

I also wish that they would start the series from the beginning, I haven't seen the Saiyan Saga in FOREVER, and since they most likely won't start over they should at least start from Namek or whatever, either that or put a new show in until they get new episodes.

*Laughs* I've been advocating for DBZ's reduction for 2 years.
Re-run hell Z should be the show's new title. More new episodes, eh? Well, so long as it is fresh content, I won't condemn it. Reruns however are evil and do not keep the fans pacified for long.

Unfortunately, many shows, like batman, batman beyond, or superman do not have enough episodes to really rerun. If you put these shows on ONCE a day it takes only a month (maybe two) to run the whole series. DBZ has an advantage over these shows, there are hundreds of episodes, if they showed TWO episodes every day it would take over three months before we see the same episode again. So I wouldn't mind DBZ reruns so much if they showed the whole series(only one time slot though). I don't understand why they don't do this, KWB toonami is rerunning pokemon from the beginning again.

I would rather they show the series from the begining to end. You would be suprised how few people have seen the Saiya-Jin Saga.

Plus, it was pretty much the last time any of the human fighters got to show their stuff.

    Batman has 109 episodes.
    Superman has 54 episodes.
    Batman Beyond has 52 episodes.

    Given 5 days week x 52 weeks a year that's 260 air days.

Batman can air all the way through about 2 & 1/3 times in a full year
    Superman: 4.8 times
    BB: 5 times

I get where you're coming from, that they can't run these shows into the ground. But if you think of it this way, if they dedicate one time slot to all three shows (a run of all Batman episodes, followed by a run of all the Superman episodes, followed by a run of all the BB episodes) you've got something that rivals DBZ from start to finish (in terms of total episodes).

Personally I think you should complain about them running the shorter series too often. Shows that only have 13 or 26 episodes.

That will be the day... the Saiyan saga of DBZ. I've never seen it before so I can't wait for them to show them. But like I said, that will be the day.
    This has been Dark Spider....

I miss Moltar's old commercial about the neccesity of reruns...it was quite funny, well put together...and let me cut Toonami some slack.

I've seen on Toonami the Sayin saga 2-3 times, namek up to goku way to many times..
    namek/frieza 2-3 times..
    Androids twice...
Cell once all the way through
and now I've caught most of the Buu that they've aired (I've had intermitant cable throughout...)

I dunno, it's always odd watching the old eps...cause the characters seem so weak...

    *sigh*

Well what does that mean? They were still strong! Heck, they were even strong during the DB eps. (remember how much little Goku bosted early on in the series) It is just that the enemies kept getting more and more insane powers as the heros did the same. Just remember that Frieza was supposed to be it. And what was he? A being who is extremely tough to kill and who can survive in space. But the fans wanted more. So along came Cell. And what was he? Just like Frieza, only with the ability to constantly regenerate and even harder to kill than Frieza. (plus more of a personality that seemed less evil, but that is another story) But they wanted even more after even that! So then came Buu. And what was he. Similar to Frieza and Cell, only completely insane, more regenerative, pliable, and still even harder to kill than Cell! (I think you get the picture)

Personally, I think DBZ is too overrated as it is, but has some novelty in it still. I just want them to get the end over with, then go all the way back to Raditz so we can see the whole thing all over again as it was meant to be.

Personally, I think the Android/Cell Sagas were rerun to death. I hope Toonami puts them on a hiatus until new episodes air. I'm not a fan of the series anymore (I used to be) and would perfer that they air DBZ only on weekends. However, "DBZ" apparently still delivers ratins-wise, despite being repeats.
