    Man I Miss Moltar

    Like This Thread!
Well, without Toonzone to entertain me....I had to find other forms of entertainment...and I stumbled onto the Toonami Digital Arsenal...

Man, they had lots of good Moltar clips, and now I really miss him, cause he was betterer than the toms....

    *sigh*

I need to get me a Moltar avatar...maybe after Garibaldi.

I don't know. I've seen some Moltar clips and he didn't seem too interactive. Just read the lines and there you go. TOM seems more personable to me.

I grew up on TOM 2

Well I can't say that I miss Moltar, because I startred watching Toonami in December 2000, when TOM 2 was about 2-3 months old. But I watched EVERYTHING at the Digital Arsenal and Moltar seems pretty cool. I would like him to come back, just to see what he was like on television in person.
    This has been Dark Spider....
    Buh-za! Chik-ka! Wuh-pa! Teamo Kiyone...o!!!! Oops wrong show....

I miss Moltar too. I've been watching Tonnami for a VERY long time, like whenever they had Robotech(I love that show), even before then, and I got mad when Tom first showed up. I've grown accustomed(I think I spelled it right) to Tom though, but it would still be nice to see Moltar back on Toonami, even for just a little while.

I think they need to incorporate more of Moltar's attitude in to the TOM host. Reinvent the character to a smooth-talking host that people can dig. More new promos and mini-series couldn't hurt either. However, I don't think the next TOM mini-series should be interactive. They need to focus on character development with these things. Moltar's popularity stems from him having a back story with Space Ghost:C2C en all. They need to work on developing TOM's character like that. Give him a real adventure. They've got an entire galaxy to work with. Make the Absolution in to a warship and fight evil space pirates who are trying to hijack their broadcast feed, or conquer the universe, something like that. Make TOM in to a virtual Captain Harlock and fight evil under the flag of freedom for the heck of it. Toonami is about action, their host needs to reflect this aspect by having some adventures. Intruder was a great start with this. They need to do more adventures like that. Online stuff aside.

That would be cool. The space pirates could try to take over the Toonami broadcast, and they'd have a big flag like this:

Or if they REALLY wanted to make the Pirates into a bunch of evil, gruff maniacs completly bent on Taking over and destroying all that is toonami:

*shudder* That second one makes my soul cry.

[indent]Wasn't there an idea tossed around before back in the Intruder days of doing an actual TOM and Sara series?

Yes. I believe they were basing that on how well Intruder and Lockdown went over.

I would not mind more of a return to some of the Moltar attitude, but we have Tom now and we can't do too much about that.

As for any more events, I say if they can create a gripping story, yet have time for a little interactiveness (not to the Lockdown level, but not too little like with the Intruder), it could work to our advantage.
