Episode 39
English title: "The Terrible Triplets Versus the Wiggin' Trio!"
Japanese title: "Decisive Battle! The Three Prison-Murderer Brothers vs. Hajike Trio! Which Has Better Teamwork!?"
On the last episode of Bobobo, (Summary coming soon)
Meet the Bona-fide Stars:
Team Wiggin' -
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo: The Bo-tector with the yellow fro, he's the main character in case you're too thick to figure out. Bo's the master of the Fist of the Nose Hair, extening 9-foot long nose hairs that is. Bobobo's on a quest to save all of mankind's hairstyles from extinction by the Hair Hunt Troops of Czar Baldy Bald. That is, whenever he's not beating up on his own teammates, dressing up for skits, or just acting crazy in general. Don't try to understand him, lest you wish for your head to explode.
Don Patch: Every good hero needs a sidekick by his side. And usually said sidekick has a fighting style that compliments the hero's. Don Patch however, compliments Bobobo in terms of personality. Not much one to fight, the former leader of the wiggin' tribe is always caught wiggin' out, complaining about screen time and absorbing abuse like a sponge. When pissed off, however, he can truely kick ass.
Beauty: Every good lengthy action cartoon needs a female teenage that offers the hero support. Beauty is said woman. One of the only sane characters in the show, Beauty's always on hand to basically deliver shocked reactions at Bo's antics. It's a wonder she's still sane at this point.
Gasser: Every good, wait hasn't this intro been used enough now? One might assume Gasser's the dreamy teenage male counter-part to the Beauty's position that falls in love with said female. Well he's certaintly one of the other sane members except for the fact that he fights with his own flatulence. His Fist of the Backwind abilities are so powerful, they need to regulated by the collar on his neck. Beauty often calls him Gas-can.
Softon: Is his head really full of crap or he is truly a single scoop strawberry swirl? Whatever his head's made of, it doesn't makes matters much different with this former hair hunt trooper. Softon's fighting style grants the ability to channel the powers of the Godess Blabs-A-Lot. He suddenly vanished after Bobobo and crew defeated the mighty Captain Battleship. He just rejoined the gang recently, and it looks like he has a few tricks up his sleaves.
Jelly Jiggler: He's pompous, he's emotional, he's....LITCHI FLAVORED?! Another former bad guy and ex head of the A Block Hair Hunters, Jelly Jiggler is pretty much the guy that cushions blows when Don Patch can't. His Fist of the Wobble Wobble lets him shape his gelatin body into various shapes and forms. Now Jelly Jiggler has returned to help Bobobo and Don Patch defeat the headless troops in wiggin' battles, but will his wiggin' skills prove powerful enough when he can't fly?
Dengaku Man: This former leader of the head hunters has become the beloved mascot for Bo-bobo and his team. He doesn't have any special powers, but Bo-bobo uses him as an extension for his fist of the nose hair all the time. All he cares about is making people eat dengaku and making as many friends as possible. It appears that this character has special ability to fuse with Bo-bobo, and he has some unknown attacks, but will he ever be forced to use them? Only time will tell.
Suzu: She used to be the hard-working right-hand woman to Captain Battleship, but has decided to temporaraly team up with Team Wiggin' to take down Halekulani. She's the third sane person to join the group, and the second female to join. She, like Beauty, doesn't fight.
Narrator: The most mysterious member of the group, he seems to follow them wherever they go and knows what'll happen twenty steps ahead of everyone (except when the writers don't inform him of something).
The Villans -
Kanemaru - The former Master Train Fighter, he was hired to kill Bo-bobo on his way to Holy Guacamole Land. He failed, and was turned into a 1 Yen coin by Halekulani. He wasn't actually evil, just a guy doing his job.
Nightmare- The baddy, villanious personage is hiding in Holy Guacamole Land, and he has powers that are too scary to mention. One thing's for sure, if you get on his bad side, you could be having nightmare's for the rest of your life. He was easily defeated by (a badly-drawn) BoboPatch.
Garuberu - The first assassin that the heroes encounter. He uses his snake fingernails to attack his enemies. He was beaten easily by a combo attack of Bo-bobo and Jelly.
T-500 - The second assassin that the heroes encounter. He can shoot people with his machine guns and scan abilities through his scouter. He was defeated when he pissed off Don Patch.
Beep - The youngest of the three brothers. He keeps his beautiful face safe by wearing a helmet and he extremely hates poop.
Megafan - The middle child of the three brothers. He likes to chew gum, but, when this gum comes in contact of anyone else, the results could be deadly.
Haou - The eldest of the three brothers. He usually lets his brothers take care of the kills, but, when he is needed, he can pack quite a punch.
Halekulani- This man is the final member of the Big 4, and there's a reason he's the last one they're trying to take down. Halekulani doesn't seem to be evil. All he wants is more money, caused by his wonderous greed, but deep within Halekulani is a man more evil than all of Bo-bobo's previous enemies combined. With the support of Holy Guacamole Land and the evil Baldy Bald, what type of attacks does he have waiting for our heroes?

What do you get when you put three friends in a recording booth once a week, screen old anime, and tell them to make sense of it? You get the Anime of Yesteryear Podcast! Tune in each week as we kick back and discuss anime of old, both the well-known and the obscure, as well as our thoughts on the latest developments in the world of comics. (Updates Weekly!)

If it's not here, then it's over there. But if it's not over there, then where is it?

Just to warn everyone, my post above uses the Japanese names of the three Brothers and the bad guys from the previous episode (because I can't clearly remember that episode enough).
And, so everyone remembers, this may be the episode where the US finally sees...
BAKA SURVIVOR!!!

I can't wait to see me some animatedIt has to be my fave part of the manga.Spoiler:
Zack and Zeke
It's kind of like ET, if you take out all of the emotion and turn it into a silly webcomic that's updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays
I usually don't post in talkbacks because another user posts my general feelings on the episode. However, I didn't see anyone mention this so rather than start a new thread on it, here you go.

In other news:
The most recent cover of Weekly Shonen Jump confirms my suspicion that Don Patch is female. (...)

Well, it does say "Set of 12", and there's only six there, so I think the others might be:Originally Posted by JTurner954

Eh I'm pretty sure it was a joke. I mean would you say the same thing if BoBoBo was on the cover (which is probably the same chance of happening) instead of Don Patch. The most recent cover of Weekly Shonen Jump confirms my suspicion that Don Patch is female. (...)

Instead of just using this new signature to celebrate a thousand more post, let me list of all the great things you can expect of me on this board for 2012:
...... The same talkbacks you saw me do last year but with new episodes.
.... What are you doing still reading this? Move to the next post already! .
There were two covers. One with Men in bathing suits, and the one I posted. Bobobo appeared on the male cover. (although you're right, I shouldn't be reading too far into this)Originally Posted by Neo Ultra Mike
Besides, I think last week said it best: Don Patch isn't a boy or a girl, but a "Whatever it is." And I guess "whatever it is"es don't have to have offical genders or something.

I can think of a specific fusion that they just LOVE whoring out, who probably has a better chance of being in there.Originally Posted by veemonjosh

Yeah, never try to get a gender written down for Don Patch or Tennosuke. Officially they're male, but they (or Bo-bobo or Dengaku Man) can be "female" any time they choose to be. (though one part of me wishes it was Beauty like another "female Jump" spread...then again the same part of me wants Hinata instead of Sakura)

You serious? They actually sing for 9 minutes? I hope they'll just let them sing in Japanese, with English subtitles. No, wait, everyone knows kids don't read... Never mind. Uh... I guess they could just let it go in Japanese, considering they left the op uncut.Originally Posted by veemonjosh
Yeah they do, go search on YouTube for it. It's a riot.

I feel the same way about of Nami in that picture. Another part of me wishes it was Robin.(though one part of me wishes it was Beauty like another "female Jump" spread...then again the same part of me wants Hinata instead of Sakura)
