Think About This...
Ok, long post coming up
sorry.
With this new Saturday night block, a lot of shows that could have been on Toonami are gonna be on Saturday night. Stuff like Gundam 0083, Pilot Candidate, and Yuyu. Well, what does Toonami have for the future. Dragonball in February and DBZ who knows when, and maybe DBGT if ever. Well, that is not a lot considering the new shows on the weekends of Cartoon Network.
Add into play: Kids WB. I hate them too BUT they might be getting the better of this Saturday night thing. Well Kids WB and Toonami have put shows on each other's blocks before. What if Toonami permantly left Cartoon Network to make the switch to Kids WB. Most of the shows that are not going to the Saturday Night Block (Sailor Moon, DBZ, Zoids) are perfect for the 8-12 year olds that watch Kids WB. Add to this Yu-Gi-Oh, Jackie Chan, X-Men, and Pokemon and you got a lot of kids watching Saturday morning and from Monday-Friday. And to add to this, I was bored and looking at internation websites, Pokemon, X-Men, Beast Machines, and other Kids WB shows are on Cartoon NEtwork in Latin America, could America Kids WB get the shows from Toonami while CN gets the Kids WB shows in Latin America...
Now Im not saying this is gonna happen. Im just saying something from theories of myself and friends that I have. I want Toonami to stay on CN but who knows. And with FOX Kids to go bye-bye, maybe Kids WB will get on the action there.
All I know is I hope none of this happens and Toonami stays on CN but you never know.

I wouldn't worry too much. Think of it this way, about 70% of the new Sat lineup has aired on Toonami at one point. I suspect that if ratings for Pilot Candidate and 0083 are decent they'll show up on one of the other Toonami blocks (afternoon or Midnight Run). And I'll be very, very suprised if YYH doesn’t make an a run in the afternoons. Plus PC and (I think) 0083 are 12 or 13 episodes long, they won't be there forever and something else will be rotated in.
One other thing you're forgetting. It's only the middle of January, they haven't even announce the new series that have been acquired for Toonami yet. If I remember correctly this happened around the middle of February last year.
So don't panic solder. The future just started to get brighter.

Yeah, I'm glad that they are showing these shorter series in primetime, instead of airing them weekdays. They'd be burned out too fast. Plus, there should be a lot of new Toonami shows announced soon.
