Episode 31

Last week Bo-Bobo and company were sweeped into an alternate dimension, a dimension where the head hunt Empire runs supreme, and a dimension where they were all turned into babies. That's at least what it seemed like as one of Baldy Bald's servants made them remember their beloved childhood', but Don Patch was able to overcome the trap with his wiggin powers of the mind. Now Bo-Bobo and company continue their quest to stop baldy Bald, but a new group of 5 has stepped in their way. Who will win this battle of the home run competition today?

Meet the Bona-fide Stars:

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo: The Bo-tector with the yellow fro, he's the main character in case you're too thick to figure out. Bo's the master of the Fist of the Nose Hair, extening 9-foot long nose hairs that is. Bobobo's on a quest to save all of mankind's hairstyles from extinction by the Hair Hunt Troops of Czar Baldy Bald. That is, whenever he's not beating up on his own teammates, dressing up for skits, or just acting crazy in general. Don't try to understand him, lest you wish for your head to explode.

Don Patch: Every good hero needs a sidekick by his side. And usually said sidekick has a fighting style that compliments the hero's. Don Patch however, compliments Bobobo in terms of personality. Not much one to fight, the former leader of the wiggin' tribe is always caught wiggin' out, complaining about screen time and absorbing abuse like a sponge.

Beauty: Every good lengthy action cartoon needs a female teenage that offers the hero support. Beauty is said woman. One of the only sane characters in the show, Beauty's always on hand to basically deliver shocked reactions at Bo's antics. It's a wonder she's still sane at this point.

Gasser: Every good, wait hasn't this intro been used enough now? One might assume Gasser's the dreamy teenage male counter-part to the Beauty's position that falls in love with said female. Well he's certaintly one of the other sane members except for the fact that he fights with his own flatulence. His Fist of the Backwind abilities are so powerful, they need to regulated by the collar on his neck. Beauty often calls him Gas-can.

Hatenko: Don Patch's biggest fan, he's royally obsessed with the workings of The Don and is devoted to his acts. Hatenko keeps hair hunters locked up nice and safe, literally, with the powers of his Fist of the Key. He also has some mysterious mark on his arm that he doesn't care to let the Don know about, so he flies off whenever the need arises.

Softon: Is his head really full of crap or he is truly a single scoop strawberry swirl? Whatever his head's made of, it doesn't makes matters much different with this former hair hunt trooper. Softon's fighting style grants the ability to channel the powers of the Godess Blabs-A-Lot. He suddenly vanished after Bobobo and crew defeated the mighty Captain Battleship.

Jelly Jiggler: He's pompous, he's emotional, he's....LITCHI FLAVORED?! Another former bad guy and ex head of the A Block Hair Hunters, Jelly Jiggler is pretty much the guy that cushions blows when Don Patch can't. His Fist of the Wobble Wobble lets him shape his gelatin body into various shapes and forms. Now Jelly Jiggler has returned to help Bobobo and Don Patch defeat the headless troops in wiggin' battles, but will his wiggin' skills prove powerful enough when he can't fly?

I've recently started watching this episode and I have to say " This is the greatest treasure hunt series ever!". I liked this episode a lot.

As Bo-bobo and the other wild weirdoes continue their way through OVER's Castle, we will meet the other four members of the Ultimate Five Assassins. First up...that weird soccer player kid we saw at the end of last week. Now for those of you complaining Gasser's been doing nothing the last few weeks other than joining in on Beauty's confusion, you're in luck! This fight is his...though he may or may not regret this decision. Other things to watch out for this week:

-The worst trap-master you've ever seen.
-The return of an ally...wish to say "valuable ally", but I can't really say how valuable it is.
-More parodies of that ninja series...not to mention other stuff of course.

So far we got soccer boy showcasing his so called weapon is his lunchbox and his real weapon missing hitting Gasser, the BoBoBo bridge (including Jelly princess, Don Patch suing but mary not being in court, and summoning and unsummohning some giant weirdo monster) and Gasser getting a chance to fight again. But will he be able to beat his opponent? Eh, you never know with this crazy show. But still a good act; hope the rest of the ep continues the momentum.

EDIT: Speed Racer parody (with running over everyone) and Evangelion parody (with Jelly saing "I shouldn't run away) and Gasser beating soccer boy. Yay.

Don in that schoolgirl uniform reminded me of the fat girl from the Oblongs.

Heh, Jelly Jiggler was pretected by his "Nu" napkin.

"We've got a problem! Don Patch is acting crazy." You think they'd be use to that by now...

And so, Jelly Jiggler's Nu Napkin #1 is dead.

What the.... ? ANOTHER great Bo episode in a row? This is starting to get scary... Lots of funny stuff here, I actually laughed out loud when Jelly Jiggler was thinking "I mustn't run away. I mustn't run away. I mustn't run away." while that tune was playing in the background.
