Although PG makes things easier, I'm not sure if they'd be ready to aquire it after SEED's lackluster ratings. Hopefully it makes it to TV, its a damn good show.
I heard that Bandai was pitching to Cartoon Network, but I haven't anything ever since. With Naruto airing at TV-PG, I'm sure it would probably be fine to air on Toonami. Has anyone heard anything?

Probably the dead Fridays block. I heard Bandai was satisfied with SEED's performance there.
TV-PG? I hope.
Even though it'd probably go to the Friday slot, I'm hopeful things will go better for Destiny all round then they did for SEED. They really need to if things are going to improve..
I'd much rather it get sent to the Friday block with a heavy TV-PG, if for no reason other than I just don't think Gundam is gonna' work with kids in the US anymore, so they'd be better off just doing it to please fans (since Bandai seems content with that anyway) than doing it to turn it into the next Gundam Wing.
I think right now, based on a number of factors, it'd actually be in Bandai's best interests to drop Gundam in the US. Even if it's only for a year or two, it'd perhaps help them get their finances back on track. Of course there are other reasons for that problem too but Gundam is one of, if not the, key reasons.
Considering Cartoon Network keeps trying Transformers series, I think Gundam has a chance. Until SEED it had always done great to at least ok so it isn't like there were a string of failures. Plus, unlike SEED, Destiny's first half isn't considered bad by many viewers. Whereas SEED had an accessibility problem with the show starting out so slowly, Destiny doesn't have that issue.
Not only all the stuff Chris mentioned, but you don't even need to have seen SEED in order to get into SEED Destiny, since SEED is flashed back to many times in SD.
